The point is, even in 2000 the risk was still very high, you put yourself and others at risk which in my mind was very stupid.  What you do to your own body is your own business, but when you spread diseases to other innocent people that's just not right.  Luckily that didn't happen in your case.  I am glad you wised up.    Yes, I am being very critical of you about your past decision because it affects billions of people, and is no joking matter.  But ok, it's in your past, what's done has been done, and I am glad you wised up for the sake of your own health and others that you have fun with.
