Bobbi Eden, Vicky Vette, Miss Hybrid promise World Cup Dutch treat for Twitter followers
• Porn star trio promise sex if Dutch win
• Larissa Riquelme honours nude pledge
• Diego Maradona keeps his clothes on
THE Dutch football team's World Cup bid is rapidly gaining support in the Twitterverse, thanks to an unconventional offer from the Netherlands' "No 1 pornstar".
Bobbi Eden, the star of more than 100 adult films, has promised to relieve all her Twitter followers of any pent-up sexual tension if the Netherlands win the World Cup on Monday morning (AEST).
"If #ned wins the #worldcup I will give a (ahem) to all my followers," part of her post last night read.
(Crudity censored for the benefit of news.com.au's younger readers.)
Ms Eden took up the challenge after her porn star colleagues Vicky Vette (US) and Miss Hybrid (England) made similar promises to their followers if their respective teams got up.
When that collapsed, they joined Ms Eden to form Team(ahem) and help her fulfill her pledge on what would be the Netherlands' greatest day in sport.
It's possible they might not have thought through the logistics of their promise.
Because, surprise of all surprises, Bobbi's 5114 followers has exploded to more than 14,000, and er, rising at a rate of roughly 1000 an hour.
Which means it could easily top 100,000 by kick-off and provide a spectacular end point to a World Cup marked as much by bizarre behaviour off the field as action on it.
Paraguay fan Larissa Riquelme has become a worldwide phenomenon and one of the most searched-for names on the internet.
She's done not a whole lot else besides cheering on her team in an impossibly small top with an iPhone tucked into her cleavage.
She did, however, promise to run naked through the streets of Paraguay's capital if her team won.
They didn't, but infused with goodwill and sportsmanship for her South African experience, she said she'll do it when she gets home anyway.
And then there was Argentinian coach Diego Maradona, who promised the same if his team won.
Now many are saying that pledge may have actually taken the wind out of his team's sails before their devastating 4-0 loss to Germany.
How's the follower count going, Miss Eden? 15,396...
