How much info is typically on the door signs ?

Just noticed that in the DB it seems like more than half the girls (on HK Island at least) are now in the "phone appointment" category, regardless of their price range (previously, phone appt tended to be higher price). So I'm seeing $300 girls as phone appt.

Unfortunately, this means that their address is hidden, so it's more difficult to find secondary clusters of WGs. Is this a new trend? Did I mess up a setting? I mean, fair enough if they want more control over who shows up at their door, but I have to wonder if their volume is impacted.

It varies. Some will have a mix off chinese and some simple English. Some have no English at all.

Most common would be physical info i.e. height, breast size, since that's universal

the english i've seen is quite limited, only things like "massage" or "good service"

chinese writing is more common given the ethnicity of the girls. i can't read those so don't know what they say.

Knocking politely is still IMO the best way to find out especially when it comes to looks.

It varies.

Some will say what's available, such as bbbj, cim, anal, kissing, or 69. Other signs will list the price, ethnicity, or that it's a real girl.

Real girl as in not lady boy, lol.

Some signs will say real boobs.

I think a short chart of common Chinese characters related to ethnicity and the other specs you mention would be helpful.
Learning a lot of Chinese might be daunting but learning a handful seems achievable.
I know there's another posting here someplace of common sexual terms in Mandarin.
Maybe we could do a sticky combining these items along with some possible pics of door signs.

yes in fact it is what has spurred me to start learning chinese in my free time  (talk about motivation!)

but I've found that learning to read characters is like an enormous task in itself, so I am just sticking to speaking for now on.

I know this is an old post and an old thread, but this is actually a question worth addressing.

It may not be so obvious to first-timers to HK just how small things are here. The 141 apartments (and the rooms in other types of establishments) are the size of really small hotel rooms - generally just enough room for a bed and some space to get to it. The shower is typically the size of a small western toilet - i.e. a small room with a toilet and a hand-held shower unit. It's sometimes quite difficult to get two people in there!

So, you can't bring valuables, or anything else, into the shower - they would get soaked! You usually won't even find tissues in there, since they would just get wet, so if you need to pee, etc, the girl will often bring you some tissues...

Anyway, the way it works in my experience is that you undress, hang up your stuff on hooks, and go into the shower together. She washes you down carefully, maybe blows you a little, and then sends you out to dry off while she washes herself. Same thing afterwards.  

So,  under normal circumstance, you're inside a tiny apartment, with the door locked, and you're never in the shower alone, so the potential for having stuff stolen is small (though, of course it's sensible not to carry too much cash, etc).   But, as has been pointed out elsewhere, these places don't want trouble, and it wouldn't be good business for a girl to lift a couple of thousand HKD out of your clothes. She'll soon extract that legally if you come back...

Personally, I'm more worried about leaving stuff behind. I left my watch in one of those Mongkok brothels with the yellow signs outside a few years ago, only noticed when I got back to my hotel, and had difficulty remembering which place it was!  I had to go into a couple of places before I found the right one. And just today I remembered that I'd left something on the shelf just as the door was closing behind me with a new punter inside...

I was wondering when the girl opens the door can you ask her to show you her body naked so you can see what she looks like?

I like a girl with bit tits and large nipples sometimes but it's impossible to tell if they don't pulls them out and show me?

Up till now I've just taken my chances with what I can see from the in there door answering gear but  always wondered if it's acceptable to ask to see the goods before choosing.

If you visit the nests around 13:30-14:30, you’ll usually find 1 or 2 WGs in their normal clothing queuing for the lift as well to go to work. I find it OK to have a quick look at them, but not to stare, if you’re interested and they’re in the same lift as you, make a note of what floor they get off, but don’t go stalking them.

Sometimes in a nest some WGs will only offer HE, so the price they quote at the door is just for massage and HE, so you will need to ask if they offer FS (‘Chuen Tow’). I find a big chunk of the WGs in Foremost (esp on the lower floors) will normally just do HE.

I usually text something like this:

"Hi, [name of provider].

If it's an organization, I'd say:

Hi.
I'm a new customer.
Will [name of provider] be available at [time] on [date]?
Thank you!
[My name]
