You are of course correct.  Just as a workgroup cannot have more than one manager, someone must call the shots or "wear the pants" in a functional marriage.

You are also correct regarding the type of husband in WM-AF marriages.  Many (but by no means all) of these dudes were not charmers nor lookers in their youth.  And sure, manipulative AFs cherrypick those aspects of Western and Eastern cultures that suit their laziness and greed, but this is almost certainly the minority of such unions.

The most common marriage of ABCs are with other ABCs, and the vast majority of them are successful.  Realize that most of these unions are ones inwhich the guy has no idea about the for-pay pleasures of Asia!

Like you, I have only contempt for the fugly AF social climber who "overachieves" by roping a WM who waits on her hand and foot.  But you know, everyone's entitled to pursuit of happiness even if it offends our punter aesthetic.

Ah yes, her off beat personality.  And its her totally off-beat portrayal of her character on Ali McBeal that first got me to pay attention to Lucy Liu.

I saw when she first appeared on that series and said to myself - "OMG - what a dragon lady!" and she went on to top herself with each episode as a man eating dragon lady....which actually just totally turn me OFF towards her.  Funny how each one of us reacts differently to the same exact stimulus!!

Wildest thing WG did to me:

Ok, this is so cool.

A group of friends went to a naked KTV in DG one evening.  It was my first and I was a relative KTV newbie (perhaps my 5th or so KTV experience).  I got a cool girl but I was basically learning the ropes to playing dice, partying in a group, and just partying with naked girls!

I took her back and had a good sex session.  Well, kinda vanilla.  No BJ (I don't really care for BJ's unless the girl initiates it), kissing, foreplay, sex.  Quite decent.

I've got a suggestion if you want to avoid the long lines buying CRH tickets - as well as questions on this.

This started with me observing some travelers just swiping their IC card to enter the CRH station without lining up/buying a ticket prior. I found out that such cards are only issued by ICBC - so off I trundled to the local Chang Ping ICBC bank to apply - but was turned down as non PRC residents need a "residency permit" to qualify. They then told me to apply in Hong Kong instead.

Anyway what I want to know is what is others' experience with this card? Its not only the annual fee and other bells and jingles with credit cards - but specifically if there are other charges specific to its usage for passage on the CRH train.  

I had actually phoned ICBC to ask how do they charge if I travel on the 1st class - as I see that the IC card just allows entry into the general waiting area. The gal told me that they will collect the difference on board - but have no idea on how much they will collect for the 1st and 2nd class difference for the different length of the voyage i.e. the surcharge is more for longer distances.  

Worse, from what I gather/she indicates, there is also going to be a "surcharge" on the ticket price using this card. Is this correct?

Anyway - any and all info on this would be appreciated
