This is the thread that brought everything to a head. It's not apparent now, but in this thread English banned me (as Marsupial, NotMarsupial, Marsupial!, BornAgain, and Fenice), Jake, moebee, cherry_picker, etc. (I see BornAgain is stilled banned!) And keep in mind that we had all been banned once before by Sulasno for daring to disagree with him. Things are much saner know that we have adults as mods.

If anything, this thread is worth reading just to see the admin avatar - he doesn't normally appear on the mortal plane, and it took epic battles to call him forth.

Incredible reading back on some of the posts that were made back in the War - and quite proud that I only posted one single message in all of those threads! There were so many bros being total arses, even some who normally weren't!

And yet, as a result of those arguments and the subsequent purges, the forum is a much better place now isn't it.

Well I just got done reading the thread you posted Mars it was a very interesting read.

I can't beleive one little comment or one might even say 'proverb' posted by sulano would cause such a big problem!!!

I didn't even think anyone said anything 'wrong' at first then people just took things the wrong way and boom!

Well I just breezed through the other threats posted by Hunter, and WOW WAW WEE WAH!

I don't really know what to say the arguments sound like ones I use to hear back when I played Counter-Strike 1.5, and kids usually around 15-19 owned servers just because they waned to keep a place 'free of hackers', but it always turned out the admins/mods would just kick/ban anyone who was better then them, or didn't like em.....

Well either way I'm glad since I've been on the forum actively starting in August I think, (although I'm a registered member since 2-12-2007), this forum has been terrific, and everyone seems very nice to everyone else, except the spammers like dino...but those guys are an entirely separate issue!

It's strange because I think the whole 'Forum War I' time period everyone was really on edge, namely Sulano and English, and they took everything really personally.  I say this because more recent pots I've seen them make since August have all be very nice, jokes, comments or advice....

I'm glad simplytheguest took the time to bring this up, because I think for no good reason we lost two great posters!  Sulano and English hope you come back!
