you can catch them from a bed where the sheets haven't been changed .... dirty hotel, didn't realise, etc. Anyway that excuse worked for me.

If you are worried about crabs get some stuff from the drugstore before you fly, but I would be surprised if a local HK pharmacy couldn't help you. The crabs may take several days before you notice you have them, and by then you may be making excuses to "she who must be obeyed" if she needs treatment too (this happened to me).

If you need antibiotics, etc., just go to any medical clinic. Your hotel will be able to direct you to the nearest one and make the appointment for you. The one I went to was in TST and I would never have found it without the hotel ... it was on a high floor in a nondescript building, and close by. Very professional, had English speaking staff, and the pharmacy was in the clinic. They wanted to sight my passport, I think it was for their health care system ... anyway it was surprisingly cheap.

I needed antibiotics for an infection in the hair roots on my face due to DATY on a girl. She had shaved but had the "day after" 5 o'clock shadow which scratched Froddo's tender features (I had recently shaved which exacerbated this). It came up the day after so I was able to be on the anti-b's in time to have it okay by the time I got home.

Here is a true story.

I responded "none" to the survey (the question asked did I get something from a WG) but I did get lice from a girlfriend. She was a flight attendant for a large US airline that flew routes between the West Coast and Asia. Being a cheap ass airline, they still flew the old 747-100s from the 70s (all of the other US airlines had already sold their inventory of these old aircraft to cargo airlines and third world airlines) and they were in really crap shape internally although mechanically sound . Some of the pillows and mattresses in the crew bunk room had lice, and she unknowingly got head lice. She was here on a 4 day break and we had sex and sure enough the lice apparently migrated from her head to my crotch while she was sucking my penis. I did not see the evidence until days later, as did she, in her hair . I rang her and told her about it and she said yes she and some of the other girls had head lice, and she was so embarrassed to have given it to me.

It was really hard to get rid of. Weeks later I was still itching and was on a business trip in Bangkok and went into a pharmacy and bought some cream which kills lice but really burns the skin, I canceled my morning appointments and in my hotel room covered myself with the stuff from my knees up to my nipples (as I have some hair on my abdomen and chest) and stayed that way for 1 hour with the stuff really burning my anus and penis.  Good times.

The more personal any question becomes the more likely that someone will lie.  Some people will not even admit to themselves that they have certain diseases.  

I know a nurse who caught an incurable disease.  Rather then deal with it and take medications to try and lesson its effects.  

He lied to his family and tried to pretend it did not exist.  At least until his body started shutting down.     

As  for the poll while most of the answers are probably correct and although I think it was a good idea.  There are what 4000+ or so registered members and I don't

see that many votes.  A poll is only as good as the percentage of any group that is taken.  To bad we can't poll the 141 girls to find out what disease that they

have.

No, a UTI is generally not an STD.  Nearly all UTI's are caused by an overgrowth of bacteria (almost always normal bacteria that we all carry around, but just grown out of proportion or not in its usual location).  In these cases, the infection is from normal bacteria and not transmittable sexually, it is not considered an STD.  

However, if the infection is of STD origin (gonorrhea, chlamydia, etc), it does still technically classify as a UTI.  If you visit your doc, you'll hear terms like "gonococcal urethritis" vs "non-gonococcal urethritis" to differentiate between a gonorrheal and an overgrowth UTI.  Most of these are treatable, but there are many other diseases out there that will stick with you for life, so be careful.

There are more STD's than we like to think about.  HPV is the most common STD, so that one should probably be added on.  Then there's things like Trichamonas, the other hep's, chancroid, LGV, staphs, and the list goes on and on.
