It is just logical that an uncut dick, being more sensitive, is also more vulnerable to micro wounds where potential blood contact can occur leading to infection. I prefer the uncut sensitivity for BBBJ and wife/girlfriend. I have only encountered a couple of girls who dislike a natural dick and no big deal, who cares. This is my first post and it's about my dick well here goes!

I had a circumcision at the ripe old age of 30 (24 years ago *sob*) for 'medical reasons' too. I had, what is known as a phimosis - a tight foreskin. Being a naive youth I had never even noticed that something was wrong until it got stuck back fucking my Italian GF at the time. Mama Mia - that made my eyes water.....

So I toddled off the local hospital and the doctor who examined me declared with a glint in his eye ..."We will chop it off - it will look much better!" So I went under the knife. The most disturbing part was when I was being trolleyed to the theatre I recognised one of the nurses, a girl I had tried to chat up at a party the previous week. I'm circumsized and can't ever remember what it felt like having a foreskin. Anyway, I've asked an ex-gf if she prefers circumsized or uncircumsized and she can't tell the difference. Also, in terms of hygiene, to her, both are pretty much the same.

That said though, i think a dick without the foreskin looks much better.

I recently investigated this because we had to make the decision about our son.  The latest research comes out of sub-Saharan Africa and compares transmission rates between several different communities and countries some where circumcision is the norm and others where it is not.  Circumcision reduces the risk of HIV by 55%-70%.  

"There are several possible reasons why circumcision has this effect. The foreskin creates a moist environment in which HIV can survive for longer in contact with the most delicate parts of the penis, and the inner surface of the foreskin contains cells that are especially vulnerable to infection by HIV. A study of Ugandan men before and after circumcision concluded that observed decreases in anaerobic bacteria may play a role in reducing the risk of HIV acquisition. Removing the foreskin also means that the skin on the head of the penis tends to become tougher and more resistant to infection. In addition, any small tears in the foreskin that occur during sex make it much easier for the virus to enter the body."

Additionally it reduces the chances of other STDs: " Similar to HIV reduction, Gray's clinical trial in Uganda found that the incidence of genital herpes and human papillomavirus were about 27 and 35 percent lower, respectively, in circumcised men."

So, for me, the conclusion was that we could have a minor procedure performed, (which is very common and not dangerous) and by doing so cut - sorry for the pun there - the chances that our son would ever get AIDs by as much as 70%.  That kinda seemed like a no brainer for us.  Why wouldn't you protect your kid from one of the most dangerous diseases on the face of the planet.  Being cut myself made it an easier choice than it might be for an uncircumcised father.  

And, no judgment here, I totally get why many/most parents do not chose to put their sons through such a procedure - it was painful for me to watch! Ouch!
