I've tried to outline the shadows of the reflections.

Does the Sheraton have adjoining rooms? Seems to be a door on the right there. Or it could be anything.

If the rectangular shadow is the phone/iPad/device that was used to take the picture and was held close against the window it might cause this shadow - the blue outlines could be the edges of fingers holding the device - which would make the green outline top left the edge of someone's head, and they'd have longish loose hair, or hair in a bob, making them probably female.

All this is 100% conjecture and could be entirely wrong!! So take all this with a pinch of salt.

I thought the green area represented an arm flexed at right angles.

I agree with you, and had the same thought. It could be an arm. Could be anything really! Just thought I'd pick a theory and throw it out there

Here's the kicker. It's not my SO.  Not GF. Not my FB either. It's not even a girl that I'm checking up.  It's my BOSS!!


My Boss was in HK last week and over the weekend. He's supposed to be stuck in a boring conference somewhere in Causeway Bay. If he's in a room in the Sheraton all the way across the harbour, it means he's somewhere he has no reason to be! And if its a girl reflected in the last pic, that makes things really interesting since I know his SO was around in town doing a charity event...


Whaddya think, guys? Should I go out my Boss? He's a fairly ok guy, from a conservative family but I know he punts from time to time and he's always been very careful about it. I think he knows I know but we mostly keep up the pretence because of the face thing and well, he's my Boss! But this time, I am dying to know how the girl looks like because my Boss has the highest taste and standards for his women! I won't talk about his SO but his secretaries and personal assistants always have me in nose bleeds each time I am in his office!

If you approach the boss then there are two potential outcomes:

1.) The boss gets incredibly embarrassed and no longer talks to you. Maybe even transfers or fires you under a different reason. He feels threatened that you may blackmail or extort him. In the end you lose.

2.) The boss sighs a bit of relief knowing that there's another guy he can talk to about these things. You two become punting buddies and keep your secrets. However, now he also has blackmail or extortion material on you.

If the only reason for all this digging is to satisfy your curiosity on what the girl looked like, then just assume the girl was stunning and keep your silence, do nothing, say nothing - and move on.

If I were your boss and I read this thread, personally I'd find that rationale for uncovering someones identity in the pictures rather thin and disingenuous - sorry.

You might want to go through your posts in this thread and make sure nothing can identify you - for instance, how many people report to your boss, are you one of many or one of a small team? If you think he knows you know he punts you punt etc, have you just outed yourself?

And as TAW suggests you may want to up the RA and consider editing some of the comments etc if that's still an option!

You hit the nail on the head.  One way to get yourself outed and perhaps disliked by upper management.  And please remind me why this is a QA thread? Not really mongering related, as we don't even know if a WG was in the room (could be a mistress or nobody but him and SO), so shouldn't it be a talk is cheap topic?

Thanks for all the concern guys but its all good. My Boss' not in this forum and there's no way in hell anyone can out me Boss and me from whatever pics and comments in this thread, so I'm still sleeping soundly at night. Me and my Boss, we're ok and we go some ways back. Obviously if you are a career executive who has not yet developed any degree of personal relationship with your Boss I would not recommend going to a sex forum to post questions about him!

And knowing him, its definitely a WG!

Seriously, how do you know that unless you monitor all his internet activities?  It's naive to think you know everything about a person and what they do ...  Heck, he kept the hotel and his activities within a secret from you, so it's possible there are other things you don't know.  However, if you can sleep comfortably "knowing" he is not a member here, kudos to you.      

@tonytoro: Interesting to see how he replies to this given the effort some bros made, thinking it was related to his SO.

@tony - My comment was in response to twice's tongue-in-cheek query, that yes it is not just a simple question on the location of the pics with nothing else to it. As to the "grrrr", I have my own reasons for adding it in. Seemed to have gotten some bros wondering if it was my GF/SO but I did clarify immediately afterwards that it was not.
