It's working: two of my favourites have left SKM (Bo Bo and Yuki). Bo Bo may never return, and Yuki has gone to TST. She told me yesterday it was the registration which prompted her decision. She said if a WG was robbed or murdered, guess where the police would start looking for suspects? Yup, the register. "Please explain why you
spent 2 hours in flat H3 on the 7th floor..."
The good news: say you are going to the Thai restaurant (3F) or for a haircut (bit obvious if hair same length on departure!) and the security guy won't ask you to sign in.

I was there a few weeks ago - and there was No registration person, or even the usual "doorman".  Just went to the elevator and up I went.  But -- seems JtB just went a few days ago and had to register.  ???  Guess it is a bit "hit or miss"?

Also, when I went there still seemed to be quite a few gals -- many not on the DB.  The one I hit was not listed.

Was there last week to visit Sammy. Didnt know anything about the registration but when I was going to the elevator I was approached by the doorman. I gave him my passport, he took some notes and gave it back. I thanked him and went for the elevator. There were about 6 people whom I was about to share an elevator with, and they all knew why I was there. The disturbing part I think was not the registration itself but doing it in front of other residents.

This should be obvious, but why not get off on the floor where the Thai restaurant is, then take the stairs the rest of the way?

.. Why bother ... I dont feel uncomfortable on these situations, I just wanted to warn other punters who may have problem with that. Actually a lady and a child (probably her son) get off with me on the fifth floor but they turned left and I turned right to the corridor of the ladies.

But if I was living in HK, I would avoid this place. Because if anything happens to someone in the building on the day of your visit. You suddenly become the usual suspect. I remember having heard there was an attack to a walkup girl in Wanchai sometime last month, anything like that happens on that buillding and you will be the first that police contacts. Be it for suspicion or just some questions it will not be pretty. With all the variety to choose from in HK there is no point of risk IMHO

P.S.There were 4 or 5 girls on 5th floor last week, Now database shows only 2. I guess it will only get worse.

I just noticed this thread.  My first visit to SKM was two weekends ago.  I rang the bell and got buzzed in.  Went to the even floored elevator and waited (hoping to see Stella that evening).  I noticed the guard sitting there but he didn't say anything.  Got to the 14/F and the door to the flat is locked.  Went to the 5/F to see if my plan B was available, nope...so down to 4/F.  I understand there are also some 161 ladies on this floor, but no, every flat was locked up.

I went back a few days later, my last evening in HK.  Got buzzed in and went to the elevator but was stopped by the guard asking for ID.  I didn't have my passport on me, but fortunately always carry my passport card in my wallet.  He took down some info and I was on my way up.  I  ended up seeing Yuki that evening and she told me the reason that no girl was working on Sunday was because it was Women's Day.

It doesn't bother me that the guard's taking down info.  I was just surprised and was going to ask in my review of Yuki (before I saw this thread) if this is normal.  I suppose next time I'll say I'm going to the restaurant, but since there're cameras on almost every floor, can the guard see what floor you're on?

As far as scaring away the WGs, as I'm writing this post, there are 9 ladies posting availability on 141 and who knows how many on 161 (cuz I can't read chinese).
