Interesting topic.

I have not been single for over 12 years. Went from one girlfriend to another without any breaks in between. Was literally breaking up with one chic in the morning (mostly due to the fact that I met some other chic) then going out with another girl in the afternoon. Not healthy or ethical I know.. but that's what this board is for! lol..

Even during these relationships, I used to go out a lot with friends. Be it a rugby tour or just a night out of town with the boys. Somehow, someway, I will pick up some chic from the club. Civvie girls. I've stopped doing that so often now and have been more involved in mongering instead. The way I see it is:

1) The amount you pay to pick up these girls ain't cheap. You're always trying to impress (for obvious reasons) and you end up dishing out more dough if anything. Yes, the chase is a lot of fun but there's no guarantee whether or not you're going to end up in bed with her that night.

2) Say you do pick up, you get to have sex with her.. Great.. but sex wtih a civvie chic is still just sex. It can be great but she's not going to provide services like they do at a SN right... so end of the day, even though it's a new girl, it's just sex... If you're looking for value added services, you are unlikely to get it from a pick up.

3) The aftermath is the biggest concern for me and I'm sure I speak for a lot of other bros here too. Even though I am not married and just have a gf, you never want to break up because SHE finds out you're cheating on her. I find, no matter how cool a chic is, if she can easily fall for you after just one night. There are too many psycho chics out there and they'll do whatever they can to "win" you. I've gotten my fair share of experience on that and it sucks. Literally cold sweat when you hear/feel your cell phone ringing in your pocket when you're with your significant other.

I'm not saying that mongering is the answer to everything but like most bros here say, it's natural for men to have more than one partner. You're going to cheat one way or another. Mongering, at the end of the day, can be cheaper, less risk and quicker. You go in, pay for their services, do your thing and walk out. They're not goign to call you and haunt you nor are they going to, in most cases, try to get you to choose between your SO/GF or her..

i don't think thats true.I mongered a few times before getting married ( mods should be able to pull out my reports from their "database of archived items"    but never after marriage.

yes, there is a very high chance of me doing it a couple of times in the next few months. finding it hard to hold now ...and more so after reading reports in this forum.

I like how the main argument is cost!   Cost is expensive when it's relative to what you earn or can afford. Some folks already have hobbies that are just as expensive. Others have a girlfriend/wife that are even more expensive!  

As for the morality, it depends on your culture and upbringing. I will say that anyone mongering needs to keep their SO in mind because once you take that step, it changes everything. Don't throw a lifetime away over a few minutes of pleasure unless you are truly ready.

But no, I agree with you. Culture is a huge factor. I was brought up in Canada and even when I first moved back to Asia, I really frowned upon the whole idea of prostitution. Asia really changes your mentality on things though. After a few years here, I think it's a totally normal thing to do... If I tell my friends back home, they'll just look at me and think I'm disgusting.. and I won't blame them a bit cause that's just the way Canadians (for the most part) think of prostitution.

But Canada has a really evolved set of sex laws doesn't it?  Not to mention lots of great working girls and a very high service standard.  Even in that mecca of American whoredom, San Francisco (expensive I know), they speak in hushed tones about how great it is over the border in Canada.

Umm.. yes and no. It really depends on your circle of friends (like the rest of the world). For the most part, it's all hush hush over in Canada as far as I know..
