Let's try to keep all this friendly and cordial. We are supposed to be exhanging experiences and asking for information as well as having sensible, adult discussion and not going to war with each other.
However, I have a suggestion (in addition to the amnesty). Why not add a sniping or war zone section where we can all
attack each other and anyone else to our hearts content without any comment or interference. The first people I would
attack would be our pathetic politicians!

bro. twiceAweek: If there is something we should know about their identities, please enlighten us. I can sense that bro. Pilgrim is not a true newbie since he seems to know a great deal about the going ons here. (therefore, I can understand if he is a previously banned person) I know it is not easy to be a moderator, but I do believe that you should enlighten us if you have info that the other brothers are not privy to.

Perhaps an amnesty would clear the air of all the bad blood.

I believe hiding ones identity and continuing to give opinions gives other bros in this forum a wrong impression.
Unfortunately its only my hunch and is based on my experience going through the numerous posts in this forum.

But it doesn't matter, they have made their opinions loud and clear - to summarize, they say that if they get a level
playing field and the mods decisions are made transparent then everything is OK. They themselves are not
transparent so how can there be trust even when all this anger dies down ?

Sometimes its frustration when a newbee from another country comes into this forum with 50 questions
(most often already answered in past posts) when we as mods and also some members take time and
effort to answer them - just asking them to make a report in return and guess what ?
we don't ever hear from them again !

Sometimes its frustrating when I see bros here having a go at each other when just a little common sense
and a little give and take could solve the matter, but head strong people arn't capable of recognizing this.

And most frustrating of all is when I believe there are some here with a hidden agenda that will somehow harm this

How about if the so called false statements turn out to be true.  How about if the report is genuine?  How would we as an educated, civilized group know and determine if we need to act to protect the integrity of a forum?   Are we guilty of accusation even before a proof is found... and who are amougst us that can make judgement?

I just checked the previous posts of bros who have been recently banned.

TwiceAweek is right - they're all un-banned. I think this will be good for the Forum and I hope that all
un-banned bros will now return under their original names. Welcome back bros.

I also agree that we need mod in this forum... I just was frustrated when I came across situation that mod can have the right to ban and to close any discussion... and to declare war.

Any doubt from the mod becomes a war... and I think this will be bad.

What happen if the mod make a mistake?   We are all human and we make mistake.  I agree mod should be here and I respect them to be about to make positive contribution but they cannot act to judge irresponsively.

When they use their power, they must be absolutely sure the person they are targetting is the bad guy.  When this power is abused, I think those who suffer and felt unfairly treated will voice out.  I think it is healthy to open discuss because then we can go forward with change and add improvement.  Everyone should stop to imflame and we should never declare war here.

We talked about re-instatement of banned member.  Did another one ask for re-instatement of closed thread?   I know I can always open a new thread for discussion, but I think I am frustrated because my right to share is limited when what I have previously wrote were closed.

Can I have my closed thread open?  Now when the banned member are all re-instated?

I don't quite understand the different wavelengths.  Sorry I did not really spend enough time to understand the whole issue.  But I voice out furstration regarding the over power of the mod.  Am I on the different wavelengths?  Please clarify because I am confused.
