Thanks for the reply. I haven't priced it out yet...didn't even know there's a Hilton in TST-their DB only showed Conrad when I checked it last. Difference in points is likely not that great..guessing 35 to 45k/night.

Also, thanks for reminding me about JWM..have almost 200K MR points, and when you book 5 nights, you get 6th one free. But..my trip would be 3-4 nights in HK, 2 in Macau. That one though is certainly going to be a Category 6 (maybe even 7), which is going to be really expensive points wise. For that reason, better value is probably picking a Hilton.

My mistake, I meant Holiday Inn in TST ... not at all the same thing, sorry ...

JWM is even better placed than Conrad - it has an entrance right next to the MTR concourse - and is of course a very well run hotel.  In fact you can probably bring a girl back much easier to JW, since you can bypass reception entirely.

Agree with fjackass - there's nothing in Admiralty (nothing at all) and very little in Central (nothing worth visiting IMHO) - but you're only one MTR stop from either TST or Wanchai, and two from Causeway Bay.

And if you get bored, the MTR can take you to any of the more adventurous locations - Kwun Tong, SSP, Sai Wan Ho, even Yuen Long - But my bet is you'll find all you can possibly want in TST and WanChai.

It was mentioned somewhere here in the forum that all hotels allow WG except for one.  Is this true and which hotel is the only one that does not allow them?

Here's a related thread that is planned on being stickied.   So maybe comments can be consolidated.
