The old dude at the desk with glasses asked me in Canto (I look like local and speak canto just like local) if this was my first time which I said "yes"... to my surprise he then said "how did you find us" and started asking me with lots of suspicion. He even said I could be an undercover police and asked for my ID or namecard!!? No way I was going to give any personal info, so I was told to leave.... Is this normal? He said if I have reference from other "established customer" it would be cool.... this makes me feel extremely curious about this establishments... I didn't feel threatened at any stage though... kids were coming up that dark staircase and guys weren't rough, just making a point to me.
