The talk is all about the Heats. As someone pointed out earlier, the loss to the Jazz -.-

But in the end my prediction is going to be a repeat of Last year. Lakers v Boston. And around Finals time next year I will be in Boston, another incentive for Boston to play good this year.

i gota agree with you its gonna be Boston and Lakers in the finals with Boston winning it
they are to big inside and Rondo is breaking down every teams defense

Boston in 5 or 6

I think even Miami big three need to play together they can some damage on 1 or 2 game.
If they can reach the play-offs they can be in the final.

But definately my choice will be for the Lakers because not big turnover base on the same guy (Bryant - Odom - Gasol) and adding new interesting player.
The most improtant thing is that the team do not care about beign in the shadow of Bryant.

I doubt that James would like to be behind the scene and let Wade being on the front of the stage.

Heat off to a very average start at the moment...but I'd love to see them in the Finals even though I think most likely Celtics will beat them to it. What I really love to see is Kobe vs James+Wade+Bosh and the Lakers thrashing the heat!   Kobe saying, "Now who's your daddy?" Hehe...

well, i dont think too many ppl care or know of bosh. he played in a small market (toronto) that wasnt all that good, and didnt get alot of national airtime. wade is a likeable guy. its funny, when yo ...

I'm not sure I would say Toronto is small market, in fact quite the opposite, it really could be considered big market. I will agree that Bosh in Toronto did not get much attention for the following reasons:
- they were not a successful team
- Bosh really has no charisma, he's not exactly can't miss TV
- network TV only care abot US based teams

Yes half man half amazing did gets lots of coverage. Kind of what happens when you are supposedly annoited as the next Jordan, and yeah making the slam dunk contest relevant again and then winning it gets you national TV airtime.

Bosh has some skills, but no real flair for must watch TV, boring/efficient PF.

Miami doesn't need another scorer or flair.  They need some inside presense & a rebounder.  They have super scorer Wade & James already.  Next ques. is if things will blow up internally with losses.

True they don't need another scorer, just saying Bosh isn't all he's cracked up to be especially now playing the 3rd option behind James and Wade.

Well another loss to Orlando can't help!

The team is barely over .500, and possibly lost Haslam for the season.

I've always hated lebron and teams that compile for 1 hit wonders.  I've been a Kobe fan since 1996, but I feel heart broken when he had his tattoo and affair.

ah yes, the ugly tat and the whole rape allegations. i couldnt believe it when i first heard about it. looking back now, do you guys think kobe would be this good now, if he hadnt gone thru that ordeal? I believe that that whole incident made him focus more on basketball and to be the greatest to shut everyone up. what do you think?

You should see Lebron's new ad with Nike. It has a cameo with Michael Jordan and it was basically trying to improve Lebron's image... He's been in the NBA for less than half a decade and he's already piling up the haters hahaha...

does anyone have a sense of how the NBA is doing this season.  it just seems that it lacks the excitement of years past.  there just seems to be something missing from the game.  the players all seem to have similar skill sets and the game lacks real strategy.  the key to a winning team is simply getting a big three and then go for it.  what am i missing this year

Oh gawd I hope not...though this being Cleveland, who the heck what will go down.

Local sports channel showed a clip of Cleveland football fans littering the field with bottles. While I don't mind jeers and heckling, just don't want to see anything physical getting out of hand where someone could get seriously hurt.

LeBron is definitely coming out this season as the biggest douche in the NBA. Probably the most physically gifted player ever but doesn't have the mindset to push him to the next level. I'd recommend the Heat trading him for some bangers on the inside.

He just wants to be a billionaire! At this rate, he's never gonna get his first ring...and I'm enjoying every moment of it haha...I kinda like Wade though but I'd love to see Lebron fail even more haha
