Yeah both are alpha dogs, both work best with ball in their hands. Bosh is the good complement to either one. But Lebron + Wade isn't exactly a match made in heaven.

in less than 6 hours james will announce which team he will be signing with. a majority of the people says he will go to miami, and that would be pretty cool seeing a new big 3 with james, bosh, and wade. chicago wouldn't be a bad choice either, but i still think he will stick with the cavs if not the heats.

no matter where he goes, i think he's a total attention whore.. saw an article that kevin durant signed an multiyear extension with the OKC thunder - no fanfare, no after party, no nothing, now watch that kid take a crappy team to greatness.

Miami would be a mistake. He needs to make his own mark for a championship.  He can team up with two other stars later in his career

David Lee to Golden State

And minutes after the LBJ announcement, David Lee announces sign and trade with Golden State, 6 years for $80m.

I'm sure that's the reason why everyone in NYC is mourning.

So Miami is the big winner!

Well at least on paper they are, the question is how are they going to fill in the rest of roster with min players that are still expected to contribute. This big 3 is definitely better than any big 3 in NBA history. They are in their prime, been go to guys on their respective teams. But the big IF is how do they share that ONE basketball among themselves.

The last big 3 made it work, but they were different type of players. KG defensive energy machine, Pierce a slasher/scorer, Allen catch and shoot. The previous time when all stars joined a team (Malone and Payton) it didn't work out so well, as these guys were not used to being role players. This will be an interesting season to watch and see how the egos match.

I'm interested in what kind of entourage each of them will wind up bringing when roaming south beach. Could you imagine the groupies chasing these guys down. Hmmm....maybe I should head down to Miami and choose some leftovers, hot latina action.....or maybe not lol

My favorite - Dan Gilbert, owner of the Cleveland Cavailers JUST posted this letter on the team's website:

"Dear Cleveland, All Of Northeast Ohio and Cleveland Cavaliers Supporters Wherever You May Be Tonight;

As you now know, our former hero, who grew up in the very region that he deserted this evening, is no longer a Cleveland Cavalier.

This was announced with a several day, narcissistic, self-promotional build-up culminating with a national TV special of his "decision" unlike anything ever "witnessed" in the history of sports and probably the history of entertainment.

Clearly, this is bitterly disappointing to all of us.

The good news is that the ownership team and the rest of the hard-working, loyal, and driven staff over here at your hometown Cavaliers have not betrayed you nor NEVER will betray you.

There is so much more to tell you about the events of the recent past and our more than exciting future. Over the next several days and weeks, we will be communicating much of that to you.

You simply don't deserve this kind of cowardly betrayal.

You have given so much and deserve so much more.

In the meantime, I want to make one statement to you tonight:

"I PERSONALLY GUARANTEE THAT THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS WILL WIN AN NBA CHAMPIONSHIP BEFORE THE SELF-TITLED FORMER ‘KING’ WINS ONE"

You can take it to the bank.

If you thought we were motivated before tonight to bring the hardware to Cleveland, I can tell you that this shameful display of selfishness and betrayal by one of our very own has shifted our "motivation" to previously unknown and previously never experienced levels.

Some people think they should go to heaven but NOT have to die to get there.

Sorry, but that's simply not how it works.

This shocking act of disloyalty from our home grown "chosen one" sends the exact opposite lesson of what we would want our children to learn. And "who" we would want them to grow-up to become.

But the good news is that this heartless and callous action can only serve as the antidote to the so-called "curse" on Cleveland, Ohio.

The self-declared former "King" will be taking the "curse" with him down south. And until he does "right" by Cleveland and Ohio, James (and the town where he plays) will unfortunately own this dreaded spell and bad karma.

Just watch.

Sleep well, Cleveland.

Tomorrow is a new and much brighter day....

I PROMISE you that our energy, focus, capital, knowledge and experience will be directed at one thing and one thing only:

DELIVERING YOU the championship you have long deserved and is long overdue....

the move by Lebron will sort of have the opposite effect I think.  I see a backlash already - he's soon going to be the most hated player in the NBA.  This is different from the Garnett, Allen, Pierce combo - these were old guys who were considered all to be good guys.  Now you have a couple of loser egomaniacs joining Wade and I think people will be hating on them pretty badly.

At least Boston will have some competition.  Heard cetlocs signed jermaine oneil. He good too. The Knicks will struggle as amare is good but who else?  The nets have nothing. Thighs lebron should go to Knicks as that would put him in big lights and he hatleast had amare and maybe carmelo next year. Looks likeaube wade put pressure on him.

O'neal is a has been, he won't make a difference, just ask the Raptors and then the Heat how useful he was. He basically gives them a bridge until Perkins gets back. That's just a really old team in Boston, the Celtics are literally on their last legs.

Magic should still be good, but it depends on Lewis and Carter actually caring and have decent seasons.

Bulls could be interesting, Rose still growing, Boozer helps.

Party in the city where the heat is on.
All night on the beach til the break of dawn
Welcome to miami (bienvenido a miami)
Bouncin' in the club where the heat is on
All night on the beach til the break of dawn.
