Why aren't the girls allowed out for food or shopping, if they have visas surely they can venture out?

I can understand the agents not opening doors for business, but locking the girls away is almost like trafficking, am I missing something?

I don't thing anyone has the entire story ... just bits and pieces

What news ? The newspapers, TV ?  Wonder why there would arrest so many,24 males,  in a small area such as Lockhart Rd.  

Just checked papa in Jordon to see if there is a problem there and he says no problem, 4 new ones just in and no sign of any heat -  will have to wait until tomorrow to check them out though.

I always thought Lockhart road was more for the filipinos and girly bars.. not really 141 stuff...

I heard from a friend who read the Chinese papers this morning, one of the buildings raided was Fuji Building (the Wanchai 141 hive) on Lockhart Road.  Apparently one of the girls caught was underaged at 16 yo.  

Thank god I never go into these buildings.

On the radio today ...
22 women and 2 men were 'arrested'
most women for expired visitor's visas / working without visa / even 1 underaged, etc ...
Wanchai district police carried out this operation so other areas shouldn't have been effected
although most papas would have been a lot more cautious !

TST was affected as well
declared hig risk by the agents themselves
the E Hotel was "closed off" @5pm yesterday

with visa ~ they would be deported and dealt with by the cn authorities
without proper travel doc ~ bit tougher, they go to stanley for up to 9 months as happened to a couple HG's last year

I confirm that - had a nice list of 7 or 8 beauties to snack on after work and most agents did not even bother to answer the phone. The ones who answered all told a similar story.

I also called Wanchai agent today and no answer. I was looking forward to my 3rd HG(yeah new the hotel and everything went smoothly) and held off for fortnight and couldn't wait any longer so had to settle for walk up. My luck is bad for HG right now. My first HG girl really was not my cup of tea and it was real difficult to get excited, but she spoke english so thought this is good time to try HG for first time,won't get into details. Second time the girl was really nice and perfect but i wasn't feeling quite right so another dud. Well, will just wait and hope my luck will turn for better as im sure it will. Sorry for rant.

The girls were told to lie low and not open the door for anyone in case it's undercover cops. Food delivery will only deliver to the front of the hotel and one of the girls have to come down to collect the food. The agents do not want the girls to have any contact with anyone in case they get busted. Some girls do not have ID and have actually illegally entered HK.

So, it doesn't seem very legal at all visiting HGs in the first place. Cannot imagine if you get caught with an illegal immigrant. Police can claim you were harboring the WG and jail time is possible. It's a serious offense in HK. These clean up activities could take a week or two but you'll never know, it could be the start of a month long cleanup. The girl's length of stay in their visa would expire by then and there would be no replenishment of new HG girls. At least we still have SZ and DG.

OMG, just watched Wheelock's link to Apple Daily. It's scary and looks like a concerted effort to crackdown on 141.

The reporter says that they had found WGs as young as 16 and that these girls charge HK$700-900 per shot at hotels and can be found on the internet (SOUND FAMILIAR?). Other girls found on the internet charge $450-$480 at walkups. The reporter also mentioned that they planted 20 undercover policemen posing as customers for girls in Wanchai hotels from this website. Better beware bros. To our mods, should I be resetting my previous reports all to RA30 for security reasons?

They might be getting information more from the Chinese side of 141 than the English side.  I think the reason for the raid was for under age girls.  Prostitution is legal under certain conditions in HK.

Yes, prostitution is legal but not institutionalized prostitution which the reporter had implied in the video. They even arrested 3 of the girls' handlers plus 24 girls. That sounds like a brothel operation to me. As they have found a 16 year old, this crackdown may take some time before it's over.

At least that will put a halt to fake reports written by the agents on the chinese side.

I snucked up to bring some food for a HG as she hadn't eaten all day. I had to be extra careful and make sure I wasn't tailed. Took the lift to a lower floor and walked up the stairwell. Very clandestine!

Wonder how the cops knew which rooms to raid? The real hotel guests must have been spooked.

It was nice of you to risk being jailed. You must like her    You should have gotten her phone number and qq number at the same time.

I would guess by reports on 141, or by undercover cops, or by asking the hotel manager who registered for each room in the hotel, maybe watching hotel cameras.....
