for the past 3-6 years there hasn't really been a big price difference, everything is pretty much the same.

Actually to think about it, another reason why WGs cost less now is because of the internet. In the past, apart from having to seek out names of the papasans from friends which made mongering more expensive at the time, the only way to get WGs were at the Night Clubs. These night clubs were so expensive and actually cost even more as they do today but given inflation, this would actually be 3 to 5 times more in real terms. Remember Club Tonnochy, Club Volvo, China City Night Club and so many others? These no longer exist today and their demise is partly due to the internet and also because rents got excessive. They were very huge and I remember Club Volvo had a mockup of a miniature Rolls Royce that drove you to your table. You had to be very rich to go mongering in those places and yet there were packed every night!
