All of the boxing fans will need to wait for the result of the Mayweather/Mosley Fight. Sure the Stadium proved to be a place for big fights/events. 50K plus in attendance is a sucess for the bout.

But I'm curious how the PPV numbers are going to turn out...that and the Mayweather/Mosley fight of course.  If that fight in April nets more buys, will it change the purse for any possible Pacquiao vs Mayweather fight?  It's just going to be a lot of back and forth again!

I guess this fight will generate about 800K-900K PPV.  The attendace during the fight would explain it already.

only $5 bets with my friends while watching the fight at the bar. called both undercard fights and the title fight going the distance.

pacman really put on a good show, but the fight was pretty boring in general. now to wait for the GSP-Hardy UFC fight =)

Pac-Man vs Mayweather is an event. But Pac-Man vs. Mosley is a huge FIGHT. Those two guys would go to war and it would be ten times as exciting as any fight involving Mayweather.

I'm hoping Mosley is able to do the impossible on May 1st.

As for Clottey. He clearly was outclassed. He was also wincing in pain numerous times from the body shots Pac-Man was nailing him with. Some of them were brutal.

If there is a Pac Man vs Mosley fight and Pac Man wins, mark my words, there will NEVER be a Pac Man vs Mayweather fight. Mayweather will come up with every excuse in the world to avoid Pac Man.

if mayweather loses to mosley, there is no need for a pacman / mayweather fight. pacman is only fighting mayweather to cement his legacy, as mayweather is unbeaten. if mayweather gets beat by mosley, the novelty of mayweather wears out as far as pacquiao is concerned

Even if Mayweather loses to Mosley, I think Manny will still demand to fight mayweather. After all those false allegations his buddies and the GoldenBoy threw to Pacman Alongside Freddie Roach, he really wants to destroy and crush PBF in the ring.

What a waste of $50 USD to buy this on pay per view. I only find out afterward that the promoter for this fight represented both fighters so it seems like a set up. Clottey basically played D the whole fight and just wanted to last the 12 rounds. The Cotto fight was much better as Cotto actually put up a fight and went after Pacman.

We'll see about the next fight, I doubt Pacman get elected to the Philippines as the people know he'll be out of shape is busy with political stuff if he gets elected. Plus the whole world demands that Pacman take on the winner of Mayweather and Mosely.

I still wish Pacman could have fought Roy Jones Jr. in his prime, that fight would be epic.

Wait a minute....
You don't actually think that politicians in the Philippines actually do ANYTHING that's government related, do you? (beside taking kickbacks and bribes, that is...)
EVEN IF Pacquiao is elected (not saying that he will be), it's not like he actually has any "political" things to do....

Democracy here is a joke, sorry to say....

As for now, he's preparing his campaign for the coming May Elections in the Philippines. The next fight for sure is the winner of Mayweather vs. Mosley Bout, but there are news that his old rival, Erik Morales wants to fight Pacman for the 4th time.

I'm not sure if many people would want to watch Morales get his ass whipped a 3rd straight time.  I'd much rather see a Juan Manuel Marquez 3rd fight, if anything, as far as rematches goes.  Other than that, I'd love to see if he can move up one more weight class and fight someone like Paul Williams to get one more title.

I think that Mayweather has some points about Pacquiao being a one-dimensional fighter, as his defense is atrocious.  He is too often hit by stunning blows that he doesn't seem to anticipate, even when the opponent is outclassed, like the latest fight.

Even though it's obvious who the winner should be, Clottey hit him with several punches that clearly hurt Pacquiao, it's just hard for Clottey to win if he only throws 1/3 the punches that his opponent does.

What I do think is that Pacquiao is superbly managed, as he is pitted against fighters clearly out of their prime, or with such range between their weights that come fight day, you will always see Pacquaio in his fittest, while the opponent looks like a starvation deathcamp victim.  Great management and negotiating powers, as you have a full strength Pacquaio fighting some aging, over the hill skeleton.

He's a great fighter, that is for sure, but he isn't proving much by the latest series of fights.  They are cakewalks leading up to a fight like Tyson vs Douglas, where Tyson was a 42-1 favorite.  We all know the results of that.

mayweather is quick but pacman is fast! mayweather can only dodge and throw a 1-2 combo! dont be stupid and think pacman will charge in blindly! pacman wouldnt need to even hit him in the head. constant body blows to the body will do the job!

man i should be a boxing coach! if i was, il be one of the best!

Pacman will be running for congressman on the province of Saranggani ( Home Province of Pacman's wife ) in the congress.

Actually i don't think he needs it. I would rather like pacman to be a rolemodel for all athletes or become an advisor for the sports industy.
