I was referring to the store clerks.  If you look at the high end stores, a significant portion of the customers are from Mainland China, with a rare few from Hong Kong.  This wasn't the case 15 years ago. That's why most of those clerks now are required to speak Mandarin, since they comprise such a huge portion of sales.

I walk around a lot in my job and would like to wear something comfortable but also a pair that does not look too obviously like sneakers. Someone recommended ECCO shoes. Has anyone tried it? It will be nice to be able to pop into the gym for a workout with the shoes I am wearing instead of having to carry another pair. Any opinions?
