Not sure if its paranoia or what, but I often see some shady looking people hanging outside brothels in MK. I haven't actually ever gone into one of these so I wouldn't know but those people look like they could be the 'enforcers' mentioned in the thread... either that or some really nervous guystrying to muster the courage to go upstairs, lol. I know cause I was walking to the movies, finished, walked past the place again, and saw the same people lurking out there.

I have once forgotton to pay, I was a regular and I showered dressed, got a goodbye hug. Got in the lift down to the G/F, then realised I hadn't paid, so I went straight back up. The girl totally forgot too, but knew I would be back.

Just chiming in but I feel pretty much the same as the other bros comments.  Just pay and no tip for those really shoddy ones.  It ain't worth the risk in HK where the business seems fairly organized and I'd expect there is a strong relationship with the darker elements of society.  Even if they aren't run by a Triad fellow the PPS would more likely than not be friends with one.

On a side note ... the dash and dine does happen.  In surfing the Toronto boards you'll read the occassional story/account of a WG getting ripped off.  It usually happens one of two ways it seems:

1. Standard I am not paying and walking out of here.  This is of course with fellows who can physically dominate the WGs.  
2. Stealing money already paid.  Waiting for a break in attention the punter retrieves the money from the purse or desk and then leaves.


Not to wish bad on anyone but I'd love to hear the re-counting if anyone has the balls to do a runner in HKG, esp in MK.

With a real lack of reports on those who have just bolted, it seems the big fear of what might happen really deters bro's fro  doing that

do all these places have cameras inside the room themselves?  I hear from some buddies that Mong Kok area is controlled by the triads, so I would not even think of not paying there.  Word may get around and your mug may be recognized as well.

Isn't that one of the main reasons for a site like this to exist? Reports help to reduce the number of unknowns as you enter the door.

I think they will put your poster on every floor in that building. The images won't be very clear since they would be from CCTV, but if you go back there again, you would recognize them and probably feel ashamed.
I have seen such posters in KB building, but not sure if those are for runners or other serious crimes.. Best luck though..
