Pricing in HK is cheaper than in the UK since everything is taxed!!!

These are the suggested prices - http://www.microsoft.com/hk/pres ... amp;mo=10&dy=15

Having went shopping at a computer mall in Taiwan the last trip I was there, I found that it's actually cheaper, more choices, and newer products there than in HK!

Taipei is probably the best place to go computer/computer accessories shopping! Their computer mall near the Central Station is
unbelievable...IT man's wet dream. I got a portable hard drive there for a considerably cheaper price than i would have in HK.
I think i saved almost 200 HKD by getting it in Taipei than HK.

Anyway, thanks Bro Kicks and Bro A-P for the information. Seeing that i would not be in Taipei anytime soon, may just get
Windows 7 when i am in HK.

FWIW, the employee price for Windows 7 Ultimate is $50US.  Cheaper for the other 3 versions.

I'm waiting for some article or someone who can tell me how to upgrade from XP to 7 and without having to reinstall all my apps.  I don't see the point of the custom upgrade option, if the apps aren't going to come over as well.
