Coming back to the original topic - English. Many HG (especially JB girls) list English as one the the languages. Does that mean they can at least understand English and are able to communicate in it?

Some (very small number of) HG list only English - can it be assumed that they primarily speak English?

You should assume 99% HGs (even the caucasian looking ones) do not speak / understand English !

There is rarely communications difficulty, it is all fairly intuitive. Even those that indicate "english" know about 1 word, usually "darling" or "baby"

hmmm... well i think most of the gals (either HGs or WGs) and mamasans/papasans who's in the business knows a little English. I think some of the bros here had also experience that communication barrier and that includes me. . I speak English, very basic Cantonese, and absolutely no Mandarin but still manage to communicate with the gals.

OK, well I am by no means a Legend or a Moderator but I have posted fairly regularly on this forum and usually come away fairly unscathed.

The general concensus seems to be that you have been lazy, I am not going to comment as there are Bro's here who are far better qualified than me to comment on this. I do know what it is like though arriving and not speaking any lingo whatsoever, however there is also Google Translate where you can at least print off some basics - heh if you are going to have a 2 pop with a girl then ask herto help you with the pronunciation. Most of the girls are pretty friendly and it will at least help pass the time waiting for you to get a hard on again!
