Those of us who were around when all this unpleasant shit was going down - and I was in the middle of it all - know exactly where josh is coming from. The forum is sooo much more civilized now then when sulasno was lording it over everybody as the site's only Super Mod cum God. The fact that there is still so much bad blood among the longer-term members should tell you something.

Yeah - the mod wars were messy - I did read up some of the history.  You were a target yourself also.  Glad I missed the fun.

Don't mean to sound insensitive (and clearly there are still some sore nerves) but until he plays his hand I see little sense in preemptive strikes.  

Just my 2c.  U can flame me if you think I'm out of line - not taking sides.

I was more than a target - I was ground zero. But I wrote what I did because Josh and Jake and a lot of the others came to my defense and got their asses banned for it.

But I have no objection to sulasno rejoining the forums as an active member. He certainly has a lot to contribute; for one thing he probably knows more about SE Asia than the rest of us combined.

It was only when his ego got in the way of his moderating that things went bad. Now that he's not a mod, that's no longer a danger, so welcome back sulasno.
