I just tripped over this thread, so apologies for a late reply.

I always felt guilty about the BBBJ and the possibility of infection and always used a condom.  But then I realized that swapping saliva with a girl doing DFK is the same thing as BBBJ.  So, when a girl offers BBBJ, I accept. But I'm not picking up street hookers -- somehow that makes me feel the risk is a bit better at D1, KP,  and some of the Hong Kong hotel girls.  I know guys who pick up girls in the worst streets in cities around the world.  I'm guessing most are on drugs and the risk of all sorts of nasty bugs from that lifestyle has just got to compound the problem.

BBBJ is the way to go.  The feeling is great as the girl's tongue on your manhood feels awesome.

would bbbj post the same threat as BBFS when the girl has HIV? especially when the girl's mouth has some bruise or cut or even sore? even after they brush there teeth, usually there gum would bleed a little without any sign or isnt really obvious...

I vote for BBBJ as well.  Here's the way I slice and dice the risk:

Stuff that is incurable and will kill you: HIV.  Can't get it from a BBBJ (yeah, o.k., o.k. assuming she didn't just have her molars pulled and you don't have a gaping wound on your weiner).

Stuff that is incurable and won't kill you: Herpes.  You certainly can get this from a BBBJ.  An active herpes infection will manifest itself and be obvious, the risk here is that herpes is still contagious before and after sores are present, and the sores can be in the mouth instead of external.  I've never been able to find a credible research paper that could define the probabilities here.  Basically every herpes paper you read quantifies things in the most global of tallies: the researchers will say that 80% of the population is infected with herpes meaning that they're counting ALL forms of the virus: chickenpox included!  Clearly that's not what the hobbyist cares about.  So most available stats are useless here in helping us calculate our risk.

Stuff that is curable: clap, etc.  You have to stay on top of this and take your meds if it happens to you.  Had a buddy that got gonorrhea from a BBBJ (two girls) in a soapy.  Had another buddy that got molluscum contagiousum from BBFS, that's a wait it out infection, no shot will fix you up in 10 days, you have to abstain for 2 months.

Stuff yet to be discovered: HPV, unknowns.  The human population is basically one big petri dish and a very tasty one for your average bug.  We're something that evolution just can't resist inventing infections for.  For years the presumption was that HPV (the virus that causes cervical cancer, actually there's 100 HPV variants but only 6 are implicated incervical cancer) could not be passed orally.  Turns out the numbskull researchers were only looking at the HPV that causes genital warts.  Since nobody was getting genital wartson their lips they assumed that HPV could not be passed orally.  Idiots.  Apparently the NON-wart HPV variants pass by oral contact just fine.

Anyway, it's easy to talk yourself into a phobic corner, but the truth is that you're not going to die of a BBBJ.  Still it's best to budget a few hundred $$ every year to get tested. It's more common for guys to have an infection with no symptoms (chlamydia in particular) than it is for a girl.  Outfits like Planned Parenthood in the U.S. offer a simple "CleanSweep" test for $200 - $400 where they give you a complete screen in one office visit.

Does the listerine BJ really provide protection?  Never ran into this before HK.  Is this a "don't know but it can't hurt" strategy or is there some research that listerine kills viruses?  It was proven to be a failure in preventing colds (which was the big listerine claim until the 80's and the FDA made them do a clinical trial).

listerine is anitseptic which contains some alcohol.  It will kill a lot of bateria but not all as bateria comes in all forms. Hence you know thos ehand sanitizers never claim to kill ALL the germs.  Now with with virus the bottom line answer is really no....if it sound so easy wouldn't have a HIV epidemic in this world!

As you know with alcohol it will dry up very quickly, so it may causes the penis to being too dry. hence listerine is not really made for the penis as it can potentially cause dryness & discomfort....or worst case some epidermis damage to the skin.

i always want a BBBJ. It just feels so so much better. If its good like at K-pressure, I can get off 3 times in a 45 minute session. BBBJ are the cream of the crop in terms of sex moves. I love it

I love BBBJ's ,  with a condom there is not much feeling. Loads of suction combined with deep throating really does it for me..   I think that's how my wife got me to propose to her..
