If these guys aren't motivated when playing for the title already, there's nothing Phil Jackson can do about it.

Also, easier said than done to stop Rondo, just ask Arroyo, Mo Williams, and Nelson.

Good point, and this puts a damper on their last year's title too, since they can argue if KG was healthy, they would've had a 3peat...

I can hear Doc Rivers' annoying voice already "THIS GROUP OF 5 STARTERS HAS NEVER LOST! WHENHEALTHY, THEY HAVE NEVER LOST A PLAYOFF SERIES!"

Go Lakers. Ugh.

Looks like there is going to be a game 7, Boston looks desperate at the moment.  I don't know who to root for, I hate Boston the same as I hate Coby, LOL!

The Lakers D finally looks ferocious, and Gasol is making his presence felt. Rondo 1/8 at the half too, pretty impressive. Looks like this series should be going 7, fantastic.

You mean Coby Karl? He's not on the Lakers anymore.

Kobe Bryant on the other hand, though by no means a good guy, still has to be known as a winner atthis stage in his career, regardless of what happens this series. All I've seen is Boston bitch their way through year after year, can't stand half that roster.

You see how much I hate him? I can't bear to spell his name correctly!  I was OK with LA before but he's such a dick, and Boston?  How do you NOT hate anything BOSTON? LOL...  I hope they find steroids in everyone's lockers and no one gets an NBA championship this year.

seems the series is going to game 7 - perfectly scripted like pro wrestling... maybe we should have Allen vs Kobe in a cage match for game 7

Lakers in 7. Book it. (again)

sexpert you're right, I hate Boston even more. Pats, Red Sox, Celtics. Whiny ass fans and bandwagoners for their teams piss me off. Just on the Celtics they have wallace, kg, nate robinson, kendrick-i-beat-my-wife-perkins and a whole cast of people who don't believe they ever committed a foul in their lives.

I'd rather watch Lebron/Wade, unless it was the last 3 minutes of the game, and then Kobe takes it. It's always interesting to see what kind of crazy contested shot he'll jack up and knock it down. Also fairly hilarious is to see Ron Artest attempt the same shot, and brick it terribly.

any major sport you can bet on in vegas is pretty much scripted, but hey it's entertainment that we want and its what we get.

I was wondering why Boston were $6 outsiders for this game, until I saw the result.
Come on G7...not looking good for Boston :/

Lakers were looking mighty good in Game 6!  It still doesn't change how I feel about them or the Celtics, but now I might be inclined to actually make time to watch Game 7.  Still wish it had been my Warriors in the Finals...LOL!

Give it a few years! You're gonna need a bit more than Stephen Curry/Ellis/Randolph to get there. I thought I'd stop watching after my Cavs got KOed, but I'd not be a basketball fan if I didn't watch the finals, regardless of who's playing. Of course this also meant I wasted time watching the Spurs/Nets back in the day...

Just you wait!  Larry Ellison will hopefully buy the team and pour some big bucks into the organization.  Forget the Nets' owner's five-year plan for a championship.  Ellison has enough money to do that in four!  Make a move on Lebron this summer (in my dreams)!

After their piss poor performance in Boston it was great to see the Lakers play up to their potential tonight.  I can only hope they stay awake for game 7.

You'd think the warriors are in decent shape, after getting lottery picks for most of the last decade.

But in all seriousness, they have some nice pieces. Randolph, Morrow, Ellis, Curry, Azubuike, Biedrins, and even Brandan Wright all have degrees of potential. I don't think they have the cap space but if they did and somehow managed to pull a Bosh / Nowitzki to that team, it'd be scary.

Bring on game 7.  Lakers did nothing special to  Rondo and he could not make them pay. When farmar dunked on the breakaway you new lakers wanted it more.   Even doc knew it and told his team in the huttle.

Here we go..  Game 7 on thursday.  I think the celtics if they dont get perkins back are going to have a lot of trouble against the big's of the lakers.  Bynum should be good for 1/2 a game and if Artest keeps on scoring and not take stupid shots, they should win game 7.
