Was at one of those bars on Soi Cowboy (forgot the name!) where they've got those sex shows with picking up bottles with pussies, Ping Pong balls AND of course the needle tipped paper cone that the gal shoots out of her pussy to burst baloons.

I've always been wary of these needles getting stuck into me as they land back down - and as such, my friends and I had on purpose moved back to the last row of seats.  But guess what??!! Guess where one landed??!! Of all the bad luck!! Right on my head!

One low tech way would be to create a picture in windows paint with the text of the link.  Then upload that picture and put a RA on it.

Anyway, I notice that you're asking for hotel recommendations AS IF you're expecting that a certain hotel is going to have a lot of HG's "on-site."

HG's are all over many different hotels and do move around for many reasons i.e. costs, too much concentration, too much attention, change of room access etc. On top of that, I wouldn't expect that all the gals you'd want to be doing would all be concentrated on one or two hotels - so I'd suggest that you chose your hotel based on other factors than gals in situ.

Perhaps see which "district" the DB of most of the gals you're wanting to be doing are posted up and get a hotel in that particular district.

Yes there are girls working at hotels - that's why we either name them WG's for walk-up gals at apartment buildings or HG's for hotel walk-in Girls.

Notice that we even have 2 sections here - 141 Walk-up & Others and Hotel Walk-in; you really should read up more reports on this forum to figure out the mongering scene in Hong Kong. Lots of info on our boards!!

For Hotel Walk-in girls (HG) you'd call the pimp and he'll tell you which hotel to go to. When you get there, you call him again and he'll tell you which room to go up to.

Just FYI, I met Brian one of the managers at Mango – that bar on Swan Lake road where the modus operandi may just better suit some of you who are more used to the way things work in other countries. Brian is Cantonese speaking AND quite conversant in English/actually going to advanced English lessons during the daytime and is just a nice, eager and helpful guy overall.

Basically, Mango is a stand up bar with some live music where the girls just hangs out, ready to be sat and or taken out - pretty well the same way that Pick-up joints like Neptune or those in Bangkok, the States etc works. They’ve got their own in-house girls at 2-5-8 AS WELL AS girls from various KTV’s/BBS’s/Saunas’ just hanging out and partying themselves – so it’s a wide open field!

They’ve got 4 KTV rooms at the back, but these are not that popular as most guys – especially singletons – prefer to just hang around the main bar area to scout around – or just to party/enjoy the music and the scenery.

Beer is RMB 300/dozen whilst hard liquor is available by the bottle at around RMB 500-600 including some mixers. Right now, they’ve still got their promotion of “no minimum charge” and thus theoretically, you can still go in and just have one beer at RMB25@ - but who goes to a bar and only order one drink – especially when you’d want to be buying drinks for a gal/gals you’re targeting. Note that since this is a bar set-up, that you shouldn’t expect to be “served” as is expected at a regular KTV – rather, you’d have to make your own moves and act the way you’d act in a pick-up bar anywhere in the world – including of course making sure that her “rate” is indeed gonna be 2-5-8 PRIOR to you having her sit for longer than a few initial minutes etc.  

OTOH, there’s nothing to stop you from just joining a girl out on the dance floor whilst she’s dancing and then asking her to join you for a drink or 2 (or indeed any girl even if she’s not dancing of course!) – but on this, you may want to ask Brian to help you out as it’s not really cool to have any misunderstanding – especially in a place like Mango as most of the patrons are quite “local” and one really does not want to have any controversies.

It’s also a good place to go to if you’re on a “date night” as the live music, interspersed by some pretty good KTV singers ain’t bad at all and probably a helpful respite from trying to converse with your date if you’re not fluent in Chinese!

You'd have to deal with someone anyway if you want to go to Mango and I figure that its probably helpful to some of you guys if you deal with someone straight and who can speak Cantonese and more than a smattering of English.

And if its just a typo and you mean that you're now thinking of also going to Chang Ping when you're in Hong Kong - well, let me advise you that its probably NOT a good idea for you to go to CP solo especially since you sound as if you're even unfamiliar with Hong Kong, thus I presume that you are definitely are also unfamiliar with CP.

Hong Kong is fine for the solo traveler and you will be able to get around easily even if you don't speak Chinese - but China is a whole different ball game; and especially Chang Ping - its practically still the Wild West there!!

You got me confused.
You've just been to the doctor who told you you need the surgery, now sitting at a Starbucks, planning to go swimming day after tomorrow, taking flight tomorrow (to Angeles City?) - so just when are you gonna be doing the surgery?

I'd suggest you get a second opinion before getting ANY surgery - indeed before checking into any hospital as I've had very bad experiences with unnecessary surgeries, procedures etc as a lot of doctors hardly covers the rent for their office from office consultations and need surgeries and patient hospital stays to really make their money.

So I have been lurking a while as well as posting some stuff in the ROW section, and have done some fairly intensive Research. So now to my question:

I am on my own in Hongkong next week for roughly 30 Hours. I probably have an evening meeting, but should be free around 9 pm.
