Another interesting fact, even if Boston wins game 4, which they probably will, no Phil Jackson coached team has ever lost game 5 in a tied 2-2 series.

well, now they have

Lakers deserved to lose. Let's face if your in the finals and down to free throw shooting you've gotta make em. Gasol, and arrest blew the free throws. Only kobe made his three.  As far as officiating it's part of the game right.  Maybe the call on te florr should have stuck because after all even the video replay was inconclusive. Yet the lakers have to live with just like missed free throws.  Also where was arrest on D when rondo got the ball in the backcourt and should have been fouled.   Looks like soc outcoached the zen master

Boston, please win. You will make my heart and wallet swell. You may have been forgotten amongst the world cup fever but I still care.

You are correct about artest and doc.  Both great competitors who don't deserve to have their names mangled by an autocorrect feature of a smartphone.  Still artest should have made those free those and doc rules.

lol "free those" is that another auto correct cause i think you mean free throws. for the lakers to win they need someone else then just kobe to step up. kobe during game 5 score pretty much all the lakers points in the 3rd quarter with 19 points. he almost broke a playoff record for the most point scored in a single quarter, which was 25 points (it was mention during the game).

Guess makes sense to change name to "autocorrect". Yes it was Kobe all game all the time.  Maybe they can ask him how to plug the Gulf hole.

actually the record was for most consecutive points scored, which is held by Lebron James. Kobe scored 23 straight points, dating back to the 2nd quarter

Totally eating crow for my earlier comments.

Looks like Gasol decided not to show up. I still say Lakers in 7. This is a legacy series for Kobe, and he hasn't dissapointed, but suddenly his team support is looking like the 08-09 cavs.

glad that you're a good sport!

gasol and fisher should show up in game 6, along with Kobe. Artest may also get pumped up by the crowd. the only one who may not have the will to show up will be Odom.

Game 6 will be huge, and if Pierce gets his shots, and KG plays like Game 5, and Rondo doesnt tire out, it will be very tough for the Lakers to grind out a win. and if Ray Allen finally gets out of his funk, they may be too much to handle for LA. LA needs someone other than Kobe and Gasol to step up, unfortunately, they dont seem to have the manpower to do it.

the trend in this final seems to be that every road team has won 1 game. like the bos won 1 game in la, then la won 1 game in bos. bos will probably take it in game 7 because the lakers in this series has won the first game at home then won the first game in bos so most likely they might win the first game back at home again. lol theres no logic behind this, but i just wanted to point out a small trend ahaha.

This is why Lakers need a Lebron James
The two most complete players on the same team, that would have been something.
I know it wont happen their egos are too big.

Rondo is a mystery.  How can he be so good in everything except foul shots.  It definitely makes sense to guard him very tight and not worry about the fouls.  Socwhatif you put him on the line.  Slowing rondo down will disrupt boston's tempo.

Lakers better win tonight.  Kobe's legacy will be scarred if he cannot beat the celtics.  I think he is going to have a huge game tonight.  but we need Bynum to play through the injury.

Going for broke tonight on Lakers.  they must play better than what we have seen in the last game.  the zen master needs to figure out how to motivate everyone, except kobe.

Celtics best shot to close it out is in g6. Don't think they want to face a game 7 in Staples, though wouldn't put it past them to win it. That being said, I still fully expect the Lakers to get it together tonight, all they need is one player and kobe to step up to win it. I wouldn't rely on Artest for anything besides a 1-8 shooting night and some good defense.
