Another interesting fact, even if Boston wins game 4, which they probably will, no Phil Jackson coached team has ever lost game 5 in a tied 2-2 series.

game 4 tonight less then 2hrs away. this game is a must win for the celtics, so i bet a lot of ppl are putting their money on them. boston might win but probably wouldnt cover the spread. so my money will most likely be on the lakers. i never bet against kobe, NEVER!

The lakers are too good and Boston is showing it's age.  Kobe still has not had a breakout game

As predicted, Celtics win game 4. I'm calling lakers winning the next two, or failing a win in game 6, them to take it in 7.

Looks like you lost your money then. Anyone who bets the home team losing 2 in a row in a fairly evenly matched series is asking to lose their money...

Kobe is getting hounded pretty well, and having to work on rondo on the other end means he gets worn down too.

well it seems the lakers are good but not "too good." they just lost.

Kobe is averaging 28.25 points a game, with a high of 33 points. certainly not a break out game.

however, boston's big 3 has not had breakout games either, except for ray allen's 32 point outburst in game 2. allen is averaging 14.5 points a game, pierce is averaging 17 a game, with a high of 24, and garnett is averaging 15, with a high of 25.

so safe to say that while Kobe is playing up to par, boston's big 3 are not.

if boston wins game 5, the pressure will be on the lakers. will kobe show up with 50, or will the big 3 finally show up?

we'll know 3 days from now

yes, the officiating sucks, on both ends, although i think boston gets a bit more of the bum calls.

no excuse though, since they have instant replay.

i think the NBA should allow teams to challenge calls on instant replay, but limited times per game, just like some of the challenges allowed tennis players in some of the big grand slam events

Take your point about Boston big three not breaking out yet.  I still think Kobe is going to showcup in a big way.  Crecitvto Boston though for hanging tough.  How come rondo can't make a free throw. Amazing they can win with his foul shooting. Whatabout the hack a tondo strategy

Nate Robinson could be celtics secret weapon.  I guess the knicks knew what they were doing when they offloaded him.  He was drafted by isiah Thomas who has an eye for talent

Celtics need it tonight for game 5.  They have momemtum so if they lose it probably all over for them.  If nate steps up again they can be in it.  also wallace needs to play like hes capable starting to show his age.  but he is a winner so lets see.

nice effort by kobe with 38pts to keep the lakers close in the game, but couldn't pull off the "W". after game 5 the the series is 3-2 right where i predicted because i was just hoping the lakers would come out of boston with at least one victory. now lakers will have home court all the way, and hopefully they can use it to their advantage and win the finals.

yea that one shot that boston took with 1 min left in the 4th was clearly a miss because it didn't hit the rim, so it was suppose to be a 24 sec shot clock violation and lakers ball. instead they gave it to boston, that decision changed the whole game because at that point it was only a 5 point game and if lakers had the ball it would of been a 1 possession game with plenty of time to try and tie the game to go into overtime or maybe even a win. fucking retard refs!

i dont understand why that play wasnt reviewable. wtf??? i was so pissed. things like that which relates to timing in the game should def be reviewed. and then we have paul pierce and the rest of the celtics talking shit. boston truly does suck.

Boston has the advantage now. Even though they are playing in LA. They only have to win one of the next two games.

Boston has never lost a series when up 3-2! It doesn't look good for the Lakers
