I contacted Miss P via Whatsapp.  She blacklisted me because My Whatsapp profile pic is a pic of my kid. I forgot that was my profile pic (not a prolific whatsapper) but she seemed to make some assumption it was something creepy.  Wow, she's a mean one.

A correct decision by Miss P - I've done exactly the same.

So, you think a face picture of my child is creepy?  And on that basis it is therefore correct to block me?  

At this point, I don't care anymore about whether I'm blocked by Miss P.  It's the reason that I found surprising.  

Do you see customers that wear wedding rings?  Would that type of publicly displayed evidence of a family, or at least a wife, also be creepy for you?  Would you block a customer because he approaches you wearing the ring?  

Sorry, I still think it's unreasonable. There is nothing at all creepy about a toothy smile face picture of my cute toddler. In any event, if there some reason you or Miss P don't want to see someone, I think that's fine. It's a very personal business and if you have some gut feeling about a potential customer, you should follow that and not see them.

Again, I don't mind being blocked in and of itself (although I have never been blocked or been a bad customer of any WG before).  I mind being called creepy because of the Whatsapp profile pic.

Anyway--doesn't matter. Conversation over as far as I'm concerned.

She specifically stated it was because of the picture and said it was creepy and then said she didn't want to see me. Again, her not wanting to see me is not the issue. She can choose to see anyone she likes for whatever reason she likes. It's a very personal business and that's certainly well within her right. What bothers me is the "creepy" remark. Totally uncalled for and not reasonable. In reading her previous posts, particularly the early ones, she seemed volatile, aggressive and not really reasonable. Her later posts seemed more "normal" and I think the forum sort of took her as feisty as a result. Maybe she's not feisty in an endearing sense.  I don't know, maybe several years of this business hardens you and she has developed this tough exterior out of necessity.  

I don't want to be a harsh judge, so I won't.  Just wish I got the same courtesy from her to begin with.  Doesn't matter. Good luck to her.

Sorry, my rating above got botched up. Was trying to reply to the comment that "of course" assumed I was blocked because of the profile pic.  Not an assumption. Specifically stated.

I saw her earlier in the week,,,and the booking went smoothly via whatsapp.
Before I was communicating with her through email, she did seem quite blunt...but i think thats the way with these girls...they dont want to waste time..so they are to the point. Perhaps that might seem like abit of attitude to some people...
as for the creepy remark, i can only say that its very personal and I'm sorry to hear that you got the rough end of it. Just a question are you local by any chance? Because I remember she said that she isnt in to local men....so maybe thats a contributing factor?

I was talking to her before via whatsapp, trying to arrange a meet up for later in the week, this was around a year ago. We had a couple of decent conversations about various different things. But my schedule changed, I messaged her before hand, gave her a day's notice and apologised. She blocked me.

First - You advertise in English and you answer in English - Why would you answer in a different language.

Whats App - Who has time to answer a million sms - A gent wants more information - I always give them the option of calling or vice versa - A five minute phone call stops 50 sms - Its efficient.

Best gents are the ones who only message for a meeting - You never hear from them otherwise.

So, if something were to happen, or someone who thought they "had us by the balls" were to blackmail us, we'd know right where to look.
