Dettol products are my favourite, from soap to laundry to body wash.
I bring my own dettol shower gel when visiting wgs.
Some Sauna gals in China spray diluted dettol onto my ass and clean my dick during the soapy wash....thx to BBBJ and Poison dragon drill.
I use dettol to clean my wound and cuts.
I use dettol to clean my whole apartment.

I know a bro who use dettol to wash his dick, and he claimed "undiluted". I am not gonna name him.

Dettol has been with the family since my grandpa's time.

In HK and Southern China, after the last SARs and ocassional HN1N  and bla bla bla, more people are using it eversince. Fucking local stores inflate the shit out of it...

The question, Do you use dettol (together with laundry detergent) to wash your clothes?  (nowaday you also find in every stores the diluted fragrance dettol)
I had 2 friends telling me I am silly to use dettol with laundry. And I thought everyone if not majority of families are using this wonderful invention, no?

Had a WG use a load of dettol on me.. Stings a bit. Other thanvtgat, haven’t used tge stuff since i was a kid. I do put clorox into my laundry sometimes

I saw this before and in the stores and was wondering if it really works. Is it actually safer than normal soap? What is undiluted dettol? I've only seen the hand wash and body wash in the stores.

They ought to add dettol when washing the towels in the walkups... Might make them tatter even quicker though!

This is concentrated Dettol, i.e.  undiluted.  
It burns on cuts/wound/open skin, discolor clothes and harmful to health if taken.


Diluted means u mix it with water or any other agents, less concentrated.

I used to know a guy who would gargle diluted Dettol every day, he claimed he had not had a cold in 20 years.

I've never heard of people using dettol in laundry, but in cleaning, wounds, etc, yeah very common.  I wouldn't use undiluted dettol though, that stuff is powerful.

You saw him gargle everyday or he just told you?  Dettol is very poisonous and can cause catastrophic respiratory failure.  You literally will choke, vomit, pass out, and potentially die.  

Use Hexetidine Bactidol instead, that stuff clears your throat quickly.

FYI dettol sells a liquid that you add with the detergent when you wash

The wonder of Dettol: In Australia Dettol spray has been shown to be lethal to cane toads, an invasive species that was introduced from Hawaii. Spraying the disinfectant at close range has been shown to cause rapid death to toads.

I use and swear by dettol antiseptic cream! I got recommended it before for mosquito bites and it works a treat, now my family use it for antiseptic cream too.

I also use the hand wash at home & in my office.

Never tried it for clothes though.

@ twice: cane toads are one of the biggest threats to Australian fauna. They have poison that is released when attacked. My dad and I used to play golf with them as a wee kid - used to see who could hit them over the back fence.

... but I too am addicted to Dettol products from the body wash, to soaps to the original.  It started out in HK, I simply love the smell and it's very convenient living in NYC where all Chinatowns here sell Dettol everything for a bargain.  $8USD for the huge body wash, $10USD for the biggest bottle of concentrate, $2 for each bar of soap. My favorite non-conventional uses are:

Put in a cup of Dettol to warm water and run my Jacuzzi for 15 mins to deodorize and as an antiseptic.  It works better than most conventional methods including actual Jacuzzi cleaners.  How do I know this?  I ran my Jacuzzi with dishwasher liquid and Jacuzzi wash, it comes out clean most of the time, sometimes a little grime but not much but when I run it with Dettol, shit comes out, I mean you can really see stuff coming out, I have to practically filter the place where water gets sucked in.  Since then, I've been using it every 3 months and I know my Jacuzzi pipes are clean.

The 2nd one is the BEST use!  When in China during the warm months, us ABCs seem to have sweeter blood or something because I fucking get KILLED by mosquitoes.  They love me, I mean I can get 100 bites just sitting on a bench for 10 mins.  Have no fear, DETTOL is here!   A small capful of dettol diluted in a gallon of warm water, put in a wash towel and apply liberally on your body and just simply let it dry.  It's like a magical barrier!

DETTOL =

I use Dettol soap.
Use it to mop the floor, abt 1 cup Dettol to 1/4 pail of water.
I soak dirty socks in Dettol.
I put Dettol in my ashtray, it completely remove the cigarette smell.
I remove the cap, and put a bottle of Dettol in a corner of the toilet, it is the best deodorant~!

and yes, i did wash my dick with undiluted dettol, for certain reason i shall not disclose.
anyway, it doesn't sting, as long as none goes into the pee hole.
and hey, some girls will enjoy the refreshing smell and not feel like puking when they get CIM.
