Siklong, there is a Thomas Mann novella, Death in Venice, that deals with this very theme - it was made into a film by the Italian director Visconti, with Dirk Bogarde playing the role of Siklong69 - you should read it. The object of the guy's obsession is a teenage boy, but the issues remain the same. Given your recent brush with mortality, your post immediately brought the Mann work to mind.  And have you read Nabokov's Lolita? - everyone knows what it's about, but few have actually read it - do read it, it's great fun and brilliantly written. It'll bring a little perspective into all this.

(Have you've actually read the novel or just seen the flic? Humbert Humbert kills Quilty who was one of Lolita's first seducers. Quilty was following HH and Loilta around the States - but now we've ruined it for Siklong.)

Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov is an extremely famous novel, any bookstore in HK would have it. I'm sure that you could also find a Chinese translation. Read the novel; the films (there were two versions - the first was directed by Stanley Kubrik) were not bad, but books are always better than the films made from them, and most of Nabokov's brilliant wit is lost in the film.

The book was written in 1955 and caused a huge scandal in the States when it was first published, not because it's pornographic - it isn't - but because it dealt with a love affair between an older guy and a 12 yr-old girl. The word 'Lolita' used to describe a sexy young girl, and the phrase 'Lolita complex' to describe a fascination with young girls, both come from this novel.

Everyone is susceptible,  except for me of course since I love torturing kittens.  Funny thing is that I used to get these "feelings" too, but I was much younger at the beginning of my mongering days as a young teenager.  Oh well, that euphoria has gone down the toilet and I save those lovey dovey feelings for my GFs on the side rather than on some common whore.  She's a whore bro, and it will never work out.  These obsessions are easy to fall trap to, especially on such sexy young whores.  Perhaps you can duke it out with Jake, LOL!

Yes, I've read the book a few times since school days, and seen both movie versions. The book is very visual to a teenage mind!

Siklong must have very deep-seated memories of his formative sweet and tender encounters!!

So it seems we all agree that before he does anything rash, Sikong should sit down and read Lolita.

oh man, samething happen to me last week, took a friend to a place for the first time, join him just to accomany him, since it was he first time or first time getting laid in a few year.
