I've done a couple of searches and couldn't find a thread where this has been brought up but I was wondering, is there a reason that Chinese girls (and to an extent, Asiangirls in general) tend to be hairier downstairs than girls in the west who tend to shave alot more?

I'm curious about the reasons. The only factor I can think is that in the west pornography has influenced society to an extent where hair removal is the norm but in China it is less so? Or I could be utterly wrong.

I'd be interested in the reasons or peoples thoughts on this as its something I've noticed.

First - Chinese girls are NATURALLY a lot LESS hairy than Western girls - thus your assertion to the contrary is inaccurate and the only reason why Western Girls SEEMS to be less hairy to you is that more Western girls do shave/wax off their pubic hairs.

But this has NOT always been so and is actually quite a recent "fashion trend" - starting I believe with the Brazilian girls waxing their nether regions in order to be able to wear their micro-bikini bottoms without having the stray pubic hair showing. In fact as recent as just 20 or 30 years ago, pubic hair was THE most erotic sight for most guys even those from the West and coincided with Penthouse magazine at last showing such pubic zones in all its full glory versus the rather more prudish approach previously taken by Playboy magazine - who had up to then airbrushed out the lower parts of the nude gals they displayed.

Personally, I HATE shaved/waxed pubes as in the majority of cases (no body can manage to keep their pubic area smoothly shaved and totally hairless everyday) it feels like doing it to a scratchy plucked chicken.  And shaving always ends up in knicks and cuts and.....open sores/wounds/blood product etc in that area.  YUCK!!

In my experience the majority of working girls from south east asia who cater to western customers shave or at least trim their pubic hair. In wanchai almost all of the indo, pinoy and thais I've picked up even the DHs have been shaved.

Yes, naturally sparse, white tiger or whatever they call it, is the best. Followed by trimmed.

If you look closely alot of girls that appear to shave their pits/legs, they actually have super fine hair that's sparse you can't really sense it.

Yeah, stubble is bad on either party.  The razor cuts the hair with a sharp, flat edge so when it grows out it's irritating.  Waxing for the girls is the best: takes longer to grow back out and when it does it's with a natural, soft tip so you don't get the razor stubble.

to answer the op's question, i believe it's due to the culture of the region. alot of asian girls in the west do shave. so its not just an asian thing. different societies regard different traits as beautiful. such as here out west, ppl believe a tanned skin is nice, so all the girls flock to the tanning salons. out in asia, a milky skin is regarded as beautiful. like they say "different strokes for different folks"
