I get what you mean, sometimes I just want to kick it at a strip club in Shanghai with the boys and talk shit, but there arn't any.  KTV's arn't the same.  Most people in asia would have a hard time grasping the concept of spending money on a half naked girl without getting any.  For the couple hundred rmb you would spend in a strip club, you can get full on sex, hj, bj etc in asia.  The go go bars are always a bit cheesy to be considered a nice upscale strip club.
