Mongering it's an expensive hobby. I thought only people who were doing well financially were indulging in this expensive hobby. But I've realised that people from various social level take part in this. I wonder how many have been in financial trouble because of paid sex.

Good question, bro. In my case I have a budget for this activity and try not to exceed it. I also have a very nice boss who slips me a sex bonus once in a while so I guess I'm lucky, but I guess some people could get hooked on a particular gal and want to go back day after day and get into trouble that way.

Normally, I never intiate any thread on any forum. I just wait for people to do it, and I only post replies. But to be fully honest with you, the forum is a bit quiet since a few days, so it makes it difficult for me to participate and get my karmas up. Consequently, I take this calm period as an opportunity to get used to initiate threads and at the same time to get my karmas up.

No offense, c77, but it sounds like you just admitted to karma-whoring.  Why not just initiate threads by reporting on your experiences if you think the forum's quiet?

Yes, I've admitted I want my karmas up. I could have kept quiet but I prefered to be honest and see if honesty is really a good thing or just a stick you give people to beat you up with. Anyway, I don't risk anything important. If my status changes to "karma whore", it's not a problem, I would just stop with this forum and there's still plenty of things to do in life. As long my threads and my posts don't contain anything against the forum rules, I think I'm doing anything wrong when posting to increase my karmas.

I don't post my experiences because I don't monger right now. So I don't have any material to add to the forum. Now, if people want old stories of my encounters with freelancers they could not meet (because I've no idea where they are now), without any pics and a non-entertaining style (due to my poor command of english), I can do that. Though, I don't think that's what people want.

From now on, I would just stop with my threads and stick to posting replies and it's up to the mods to do what they think appropriate as far my posts are concerned.

Whether it be poker, cars, food, drinking, or whatever, you can get into the same financial trouble anyways.

So.... to each his own.

I can't imagine going bankrupt because of mongering unless I was fucking playboy playmates and porn stars on a daily basis.  Usually, the "itch" gets cured pretty quickly after and you are off back to life.  Another way would be a really young kid who just started out working, not making too much money and mongering twice daily?  Other than that, I can't imagine going broke unless I did the BFE thing and bought stuff for the whore.

So, you are saying you are asking questions for the sake of getting Karma, rather than to genuinely seek answers?  

There are many (more prudent) ways to get into financial trouble because of mongering, like investing in UBS or BA or CITI

If I had just taken those investments in 2007 and went mongering, i would have been a very happy man.

Hard to get into financial trouble when mongering, because if u dont have the cash, u stop mongering automatically.

I think it is very rare to have someone get into financial crisis from this hobby itself unless you are totally crazy for it.. like every dosage of one WG..

It's kind of like a mind over body thing. if you deem that you might be spending a lot more for a better WG this week, rest from getting WG a while. You might consider finding a sex buddy, one night stands from clubs/pubs or resort to doing it yourself..
