First, I know if I pick a girl from a BBS shop or a KTV, the mommy/pimp gets a cut.  What happens if she lies to the mommy/pimp about being ST when the truth it was LT.

Second question, after doing her once and getting her phone number, a few days later you call her directly to come over. Does the mommy get a cut too. I would believe so, but I am not sure. I think sometimes these girls keep all of it.

The reason I am asking is I had a problem. A girl wanted 500RMB for LT when I told her it was $400RMB. I already give her mommy 100. I didn't want to call her mommy at 9:30am to check because it was too early. I ended paying her 500. So the total cost was 600 for LT.   

A few days late, I asked her mommy to check the price. I found out she lied to me. It's $400 to her and 100 to the mommy. She also lied to the mommy being ST when it was LT. The mommy gets a bigger cut if it's LT.

What happens if the mommy doesn't get her cut in the action ?

I was told by a friend she might be ask to pay back the money own if caught.  If doesn't pay and decides to leave town, there is a possibility she's going to get BEATEN UP.     I didn't know........I went back and asked her mommy. She said they don't BEAT UP girls but other shops do.

There is no honour amongst theives in CP. #Rule 1, every WG for herself here. I am assuming you are talking about BBS in CP.

In CP, during weekends, if the WG does not turn up for work, the mommies or the touts will collect their cut of the loot regardless she has been booked by a regular customer (like you) on the side. Different story on weekdays (Sunday to Thursday)

I have done all these, getting their telephone numbers during KTV session (even she is sitting with someone else) and calling her 1 or 2 days to inform her I want her on a certain day. Generally, she will be happier as she will get 100% of the overnight rate rather than sharing the loot with her respective mummy or tout. Besides, it also benefit us as we get to be with her for almost 24 hours and sometimes even more which depends on what time we leave the next day. So, all gain in this transaction.

Sidetrack - I have heard mommies complaining that their 'daughters' will lie, cheat and con the mommies. They would say that she has sat with their customer of the night. No overnight. In actual fact, they had a pre-agreement with the Customer to meet in the Hotel's Lobby. Some were caught deceiving while others are honest and trustworthy. Question is, how many are actually Honest when comes to such Cash?

Every time I visit China I get burned ( cheated ) at least 2 times.  If you count them all, I have tons of stories about getting burned in all these years mongering. I think it's mainly because they see a foreigner who can't speak Chinese very well. Furthermore, they see some nice guys they think they can get away with something. In other words, take advantage.

I'm sure if a girl has a customer who speaks Chinese ( local ), the girl is more UNLIKELY to try anything.

Next, so it looks like the girl doesn't have to pay the mommy if you called her first. There's no written rule OK.

Second, don't trust these girls and even the mommies don't trust them.

You just got to be straightforward about it to the mommy and girls. The first time I was in china I was cheated too but never again after that. Know the prices of the girls for ST and LT, know the prices of the BBS, KTV etc. Ask around and get some quotes before taking the plunge so that you know if they try to cheat you you will know. Dont be afraid to stand your ground. I've yelled at some mamasans and gotten into real heated arguments with some of them because either they or their girls try to cheat me. I'm never afraid to take shit but I also not afraid to give shit. We are the customers, if we are happy and satisfied that's going to be more business for them.

I have been going top China to monger a long time. I am not going to tell exactly, but its over 10 years. But I am still NOT an expert because I only stay for about 2-4 weeks and leave. Unlike some guys who live and work HK and China.

Each time I go back, it's one thing or the other.....that I get cheated.  This is just one story. I have a few others to write about.  If I was a locate or I speak Chinese a little better, I don't believe it will happen as much.  The girls also size you up. In other words, they will try away with something if they can.

I usually don't do LT because of language issues. I thought I remembered the correct price for LT which I did. She just lied to me about the price.

I have also I've yelled at some mamasans and girls for trying to cheat me.

I don't live in HK or China and be able to go almost every other weekend.  Like I said I not an expert but I have been going to China for over 10 yrs. And I don't go every year.

In most of my business transactions ( girls ) there are fine. There were NO problems. It's just two to three transactions something bad happens on each of my visits.

I am sure most people ran into some problems with a girl at one time or more.  I will write about some of the problems in the chat section. I guess I too much of a nice guy and have to be a lot meaner to the girls.

But I always say - don't get obsessed by this all.

I'm out for a good tijme, OK, I get cheated - and how much can you get cheated anyway? A hundred overcharge here, a few hundred shopping there - not anything to get upset about!  why spoil it all for yourself.?  You already got cheated - big deal - NEXT!

yeah, SEAJ is right. we all get cheated one time or another but you shouldnt dwell on it too much. Try to avoid it for next time and keep an eye out for what's going around you. Yeah, it sucks if you can't speak the language that well but still you can sense  when something isnt right.

The reason is:  they make more money with less effort that way.  

Don't have to advertise
Don't have to face rejection
Less time searching for clients = more time fucking them
Agents attract more business by getting known
etc.

Just about each different type of place i.e. BBS, KTV, Sauna etc AND actual place have their own methods of splitting the fees.  I used to wonder how exctly it was done - till I found that there's just so many varieties and figured it's not worth it to know.  It's none of my business one way or the other and it's something the gal/mommie figures out themselves.

Generally for China BBS's, the Mommie collects her fees up front I.e. 30, 50 even 100 and the gal gets paid from the punter herself including any and all tips.  There is a difference between ST and LT - and if the gal does not come back after a certain period of time, the mommie will consider her to be doing LT (after a fone call etc to establish) - and the gal's gotta come back and pay the mommie an additional fee.

KTV gals - a lot of them actually pays to be allowed to go to work and if she gets a client, there is varying "fees' to be paid to the  mommie. i.e. in a 2-5-8 - generallly the fees they pay to the mommies are 40-140-140 with no distinction for ST or LT as there's no way to check one way or another.  The thing that a lot of gals get in trouble for, is of course making a deal with her client to pretend to only want to sit with her -and make an appointment for her to go to their hotels directly.

Then there ARE the clients who (unknowingly in a lot of instances) invite the gal to go out for Midnight snack - and unfortunately, THAT is all he had in mind!!  On this, the gal really gets into a pickle with as the guy will only pay her 200 - and of course there will be arguments etc for her with the client, the mommie etc.  I've witnessed some quite comical situations at these times!!  LOL!

I know each place is different. Are you saying BEFORE she even starts work at a BBS there is a UP FRONT fee of 30,50 even 100 ?  When she doe start work, and gets a customer there is another cut from the bill.

I know girls jump from one place to another all the time.


I know most KTV there is a fee before they even start work and each place is different.

It seem like the girls don't get much for sitting fee in your example. 200 - 40 = 160.

LT or ST is the same ( strange )   500 - 140 = $360     800 - 140 = $660

It would seem like a girl will want LT because the cut from the mommy is the same.

It's hard to believe the girls only get 30%.  I think it is usually more.

In your example for $150 for ST at a BBS, they only keep $45.

I thought it was something like 50 to the mommy,  and 100 to the girl for ST.

I also think runners get some action too like $20 or $30. From the mommy or the girl ?

I didn't say that a BBS gal gotta pay up-front!  I said that the upfront fee is for KTV gals.

A KTV gal - yes - and it's not only a small "daily" fee that she pays to have the privilege of going to work that day (and BTW - some KTV's will also fine a gal for not showing up for work - go figure!), but also quite substantial "upfront" payments for Uniform, processing fee, deposit, performance bond etc - and these can go up to as high as RMB 1,000 even in CP.  That is even before they can get their "work card" there.

This is why a lot of gals, when they first start in the "profession," needs to first work at a BBS, to stump up enough cash to be able to work at a KTV.

And thus my oft stated sentiment that one can sometimes find true "gems" at a BBS.

Note - each place has it's own set of rules.  These are just generalizations.

I think that any freelance girl will be able to make more money than a girl who has a mommy. It doesnt take much to go into freelance. In the long run, if you have a mommy I am sure it will take a big chunk of that away from earnings

How much the girl earns is how much earning and bargaining power she has?
