Does anyone know where I can get STD testing here in HK? I am here on vacation for 2 months. Is there a clinic where non-residents can go and get tested?
I was with a WG yesterday, and my condom broke. I only pumped about 10 times (about 10-15 seconds) before realizing and pulling out. But I would like to get tested for everything, nonetheless.

go to any private GP and he'll take a blood sample and you'll have the results in 2 days !

which WG did you visit and where's your report ?  

is there any private GP's you guys have used? and how much do they cost? haha

i get tested locally every month, but sometimes when i'm overseas for like 2 months at a time, I wouldnt mind gettiing tested.  i don't do bb anything or even daty or lfk, yet i still get checked up all the time just in case.  lol.

Has anyone tried the HIV/AIDS oral saliva testing that they sell at Watsons? I'm going to pick up a testing kit this weekend and give it a try.

The kit looks like mainland chinese quality and their advertising makes some false claims (like approved by WHO), but further research on the internet convinced me that it's almost as accurate than a blood test.

Please remember 2 months is too early to test. And your chances of having HIV are very small.

what brand condom did u use? i want to know so i may not use it anymore

You can visit any GP clinic in HK and ask for STD check. Then you will be given a refer letter to go to  labs for blood test. Cost is around HKD400.

surprisng as condoms are made to the standards of the west in HK. How did it break so quickly after 10-15 seconds. I dont think I can even tear it in 10-15 seconds. Also, how did you feel it was torn. I had that happned to me twice in China while I was with a WG and it tore and I didnt' even feel it tear. Fortunately i didn't get anything and condoms are not as good as in HK.

you must have a lot of needle marks in your arm !!!

Costs depends on how many items you want to test but basic STD (exclusive of HIV) costs about $400 - 500
for the test only

haha the marks go away in a few weeks.  

as for condoms breaking in the west.. my wg friends tell me that if they arent careful and remove teh pocket of air from the tip of the condom after it is placed, there is a high chance of breakage.

You can try HK Govt Clinics; free of charge for residents; they might test you (no-resident) for a fee.
Note for HIV and Syphonis you need to test 14 (I think) days after the event)

You may even want to consult a doctor that's NOT in your/your family's/your business associates usual haunt/areas. That's what I do BTW - cain't be too careful on these kind of things!! LOL!

Note that in Hong Kong, most dermatologists are also venereologist.

I'm not sure what condom we used. It was provided by the WG. The condom didn't break after using it for only 10 seconds. We were fucking in various positions for about 15 minutes when, all of a sudden while doing her doggy, it felt extra good. Wearing a condom kind of numbs the pleasure for me so I was surprised at how good it suddenly felt. I thought maybe she was extra wet or something. I pulled out for a moment to check, and sure enough, the condom was ripped almost in half. I asked for another condom, and she was very happy to oblige. She said, "thank you. thank you. very good idea."

I definitely will find a doctor far away from my home and try to leave as little paper trail as possible. I have in-laws scattered all over this island I'm just waiting to bump into one of my uncle or cousin-in-laws one of these days.

Yes, it is still too early to test for HIV, and the chances of contracting it are very slim. But I want to get checked for all the other, and much more easily contracted, nasties.

you can go to the family planning association at wanchai, Southorn Centre, 130 Hennessy Road

they provide the following std test for $550 + $150 doctor fee :
Sexually Transmissible Diseases Screening (Blood Tests & Swabs)
(1) Blood Tests - VDRL test & HIV antibodies screening test. (2) Swabs - Urethral & cervical swabs culture for Gonococcus, cervical swab for Chlamydia antigen, high vaginal swab for Trichomonas & Monilia.

btw even if you are negative now, the virus can still develop in your body within 3-4 months (for HIV), better to do another test in 4 months to be sure you're 100% negative

man if u only wanta get HIV test done - just go donate some blood - u help people if u dont, and get notified if your blood cant be used. easy!
