All I'm saying is used in the right context these racial slurs don't always have to be racist.
You use the word SLURS, and that is what it is no matter what context or justification
Coming from Australia like tony said above we aren't as sensitive and yes today is Australia day but on this day you will always see an increase in racial bashing as well.
Australia is very multicultural and I love it.
Multi culturalism must also involve not only tolerance, but more importantly respect for each other. How you could equate respect with using racial slurs is beyond my understanding
What I'm trying to get at is if I was black and I used nxxga to my fellow nxxga, it wouldn't be offensive or racist. Just how I would call my Chinese friend chink.
That you would refer to yourself and/or your Chinese friends as C..ks ONLY reflects the low self esteem with which you regard yourself IMHO.
And if a white or Lebanese or whatever Australian call you "c...k" you would just take it? That's not tolerance, that's just plain weakness/craziness.
Anyways. Time to get on the piss, like tony said its Australia day.
Yeah perhaps best you just concentrate on matters you are able to tackle without taxing yourself. LOL!
