#1 Post at 1-4-2012 03:56  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L US Prepaid SIM Card with the Most Economical Roaming Rates for use in HK/Macau Hey guys, My friend in the US plans to come over, his own phone does not have roaming.  He is not the smartest guy around.  He needs to get a prepaid SIM card in case someone calls him. Does anyone know which US Prepaid SIM card has the most economical roaming rates for use around here? Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Only T-Mobile and AT&T of the USA have sim cards for GSM phones. You will have to check with them. On the other hand if your friend is not the smartest guy around, why are you taking him mongering with you? He may inadvertently blab about your exploits once he is back at home or worse when he answers the phone in HK in the middle of a shag, he may tell the other party that you took him to the same brothel as seen in Rush Hour 2.

Does anyone  ... I was planning to use my own ATT phone number with an International Rate Plan. Even with the International Rate Plan for China, Macau and HK, it is expensive. Later, I changed my mind. I had the phone for 1 year and they unlocked it for free.  After unlocking it, I was able to use any other carrier, ie China Mobile.   So, it would be way cheaper if your friend got a sim card from HK or China instead of getting a prepaid SIM or International plan in the USA.   Note your phone has to be GSM, unlocked, and a least a tri-band to be able to work in China or HK. I just have the people trying to reach me call my HK phone number.  But if your friend sets up a Google Voice account (a US number), add some money to the account, say $10...and have any all numbers forward to his HK SIM.  this will cost the person calling from the US nothing, and will cost your friend about 0.02usd/min to forward to HK/China, plus whatever per minute charge the HK/China Sim card charges.  all in all maybe less than 0.06usd a minute. Recent Ratings ulebsari   5-4-2012 04:54   Acceptance   +1   forwarding to a foreign number doesn't work for Google voice.
