I thought I was doing ok, then I stopped playing after week 4 or around then, and just left the team as is for the rest of the season! Still managed to be top scoring team in at least one of the weeks after that though, by pure luck!!

I just found it took too much time to analize properly and make updates in time for kick-offs.

fucking Barclay's system is rubbish (as compared to old system):

1) Unable to see real time player points (5 mins delay).
2) Update of game and bonus points are so slow, e.g.  gameweek 1 finished at 4.30am 16 Aug. Now is 10am, the overall gameweek points is still pending.
3) Not able to see other manager;s teams and line-up at the commencement of 1st game of each gameweek.
4) Unable to access on the eve of the gameweek, i.e. Saturday afternoon. Cant even access the site to make final changes to players.
5) Unable to see at transfer page an overview of points and statistics, breakdown by player.
6) Auto-subtitution is screwed, not in accordance to the game rules.
7) Everything is fucking slow!!!

fucking lousy system.

I gonna contact and complain to EPL. Let see how they response.

I was trying to check the league, maybe updating after the City game? I do not know....

Evening all. The FPL have this afternoon issued an apology over the recent log-in debacle and look to have made changes on the back of the weekend’s problems.

The link to the full announcement is highlighted above, so I’ll leave you to check it out for yourselves if you haven’t done so already. The first point (below) means we are all allowed free transfers from now up until the Gameweek 2 deadline on Saturday morning- compensation for many of us who were unable to make those last-minute changes from Friday evening onwards..

1. Receive unlimited transfers
No points will be deducted for any transfers you make up to the Gameweek 2 deadline (11:30 BST on Saturday 20th August 2011). If you have already made transfers and had points deducted, these will be restored to your overall total by midnight on Tuesday 16th August 2011. If you have already opted to play your wildcard, this too will be restored at the same time.

From a Fantasy Football Scout perspective, then, just to assure you- we will be resetting any of our affiliated leagues- they will all now start from Gameweek 2 to ensure a level playing field for those involved.

We’ll have more on this later

Pending 1 adjustment on auto-substitution, if FPL wish to adhere to the rule.

To answer cunning's question, Although we can now opt to start the fantasy league in Gameweek 2, I dont think most of us got affected too much by the Saturday system access failure.
Let the game roll from Gameweek 1.

Furthermore, we are all granted with  Unlimted Transfer in Gameweek 2.!!

just tried transfers and as soon as I made more then 1 it started to deduct points !  

Definitely system bugs/gliches. Delayed in Points update.

Last Saturday, I wanted to change my Caroll (knowing suarez is fit) & Luiz Enrique (Just move to Liverpool) but was unable to login.
