I think the only answer for you is it happened to a football player in his line of duty ... in front of 40,000 people in the stadium and millions on TV ...
but to what you said ... if someone falls and has a heart attack on the street, there will be people to try and help as well as people who will call for help ... generally people do care ...

I would not say no one cares, lots of people care. He just happens to be famous. He has followers, fans etc.

Friends care when things like happen. It just does not make the news like this.

I saw a clip that even the Barca/Real Madrid players in their last weekend match showed their sympathy with printed words on their shirt during the  match; "Get Well Soon",....

reports are saying he's awake and his heart is pumping without help ... he also moved some limbs and spoke a few words ...

main concern should be if his heart was not beating for 2 hours then is there any brain damage ?

For 2 weeks in a row I have been beaten by a point

I contest that. It should be based on GW points, pure and clean, based on the team we put out. Have you been calculating this way all along (for highest and lowest)?

Yea, pure and clean. Take your 30 points this week deduct with - 8 points = 22 points Net.

I took the same rule in the EPL fantasy for the Cup tournament and Head to Head league, when 2 teams score the same points in a gameweek, the next consideration is no. of transfer ( points deduction), next is no. of goals scored or goals been scored......

They scored 30 pts, not 22. The team shouldn't be made to suffer because of my bad management!!

In this league, have you been calculating it this way all along?

Well, means if a person change 11 players in a gameweek, he get 40 points deducted and he score the highest at that gameweek with 30 points (other mgrs all score below 29 points with free 1 transfer).
Net, he still lose (-40 - 30 =  -10 points).
So he is still the Grand Winner??
In that case, Something wrong with the ranking system.

I played and gamble with my regular friends for many years, we use this method to bet and win the weekly pool.
If the dude have more transfers and score highest points still needs to consider the negative deducted points to arrive at the Net result. We also consider if he is a bad manager in playing his line up......

Doesnt matter, I can put bro.jeffliew next to you as Lowest this week, if it makes u happy....


Nah, for those weekly ranking, I copy and paste directly from the EPL website, I dont have the luxury of time to recompute and net out any of the manager's deducted points for > 1 transfer. If I do so, maybe you are lowest for many more weeks.....
