#1 Post at 30-5-2012 06:35  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L Fave Bar/Lounge (non-mongering) I apologize if this topics has been done...but want to get some suggestions for a bar/lounge to just chill out in that's not that noisy.  I love cover bands...but sometimes it's just too loud and you can only listen to 'hotel california' so many times. Last time i was there, I randomly went to a self proclaimed jazz bar at the LUXE hotel called DA DA.  Jazz it is not, another cover band, but the band and the brother singing on Sat nites was pretty good.  Drinks were pretty were good as the both bartenders are super serious about what they do.  Female bartender even warned me not to come back on Friday as the bad is pretty crap....not having anything to do, and not listening to her advice, I go the next Friday.  OMFG!  Old lady singing Patty page....basically the room is filled with friends of the band. Love to hear some suggestions

I personally like the quirky kind of places.  Like when you have an Asian cover band doing Elvis songs in an Irish pub.
