For those of us who live in HK, where would you travel to monger if you had a 4-5 day holiday in say March?  Need to factor in travel bans and risk of being quarantined, along with whether it is a decent mongering destination (which excludes India even though they have no coronavirus).

Based on my research, it seems Thailand and Cambodia are pretty low risk.  Vietnam also seems like maybe an option.  Obviously Philippines is a no go due to the travel ban.  Korea and Japan are also no go, as all the mongering options are now closed off to foreigners plus quarantine risk.  Not sure about other locations.

Curious as to what you all think are viable options.

Frankly any place which still allows Chinese tourists to enter in the region doesn't seem worth it. Better to have a staycation in HK and go visit Russian in-calls.

If you really have to go somewhere, Thailand is the obvious choice. I hear Pattaya is quiet for this time of year so you might get some good deals. Phnom Penh is an option, although I don't like the looks of the bar girls there. The casino has a KTV sort of place and some attractive options for a few hundred USD. Jakarta is another option, with girl prices ranging from 400k-2mil IDR per shot in the spas.

When doing P4P these days, even if you're not sick and the girl doesn't look sick you have to consider whether the guy before you was sick. Perhaps the play is to avoid those girls who are the preferred types of Chinese guys. So this means avoiding tall, young, pale skinned girls. On the other hand, you may also receive discrimination in these countries since girls rarely differentiate between HK & Mainland China.

In my opinion it'd be best to save your money until this whole virus thing blows over.

Actually, I didn't think about that.  You're right... any country that would let me in from HK is likely going to let the mainland chinese as well, so there's that risk.

The mongering scene is pretty grim in HK right now.  I did a few scouts and the number of girls here is way down.  Let's see what happens.  Korea looks like they are having some major breakout or coronavirus.  Could happen somewhere else as well I guess.
