Email splitting

Heres the thing. As probably most of us I have two emails. One for normal life and one for mongering. As my SO is awareof the normal, its always on my phone, no password great ease of mind for her. Now the other, I use the phones web browser to access it (or my ipad). Do you guys know of a software that would allow me to checke those emails, say with a simple password or an innocent app without me going through the routine of putting my log each time? Am on Android for the phone, the ipad is a shared account with the SO so whatever I install, she receives also so   not on the ipad!!! Am not suicidal!  ;)

my own feeling is that given your situation it would be a GREAT source of reassurance to go through the rigmarole of typing the email and password in every time ... using the browser in incognito / private mode ... and logging out and closing after every check ...

As soon as you have an app that handles a private mailbox, it opens the possibility of being discovered, and locked or not it would raise questions.  The best way to hide or explain something is not to have anything to hide or explain in the first place ... right?

Having said that, I only know of apps for hiding SMS / phone / pictures / files ... and none of them is completely secure, nor invisible ... don't know of a private or hidden e-mail app ...

My observation is that in matters of safety and security, establishing a rigid and routine set of habits is key.

Habits are what save us - or slay us - when we are tired / distracted / off-colour / under pressure / etc.

When you have a safe and secure habit, it also becomes very slick with repeated use, and almost as efficient as an automated solution can be.

The key is you ALWAYS go through the same routine checklist, as you transition from "safe" to "live" and back.
