I’m not an expert ladyboy spotter, but my go to are these:
- Ignore all girls in known ladyboy areas. Better to just be ultra safe.
- Keep your head up and look for the adam’s apple first. Don’t look at the girl’s face, tits or legs. If you’re checking out her legs first from a distance, then by the time you’re walking past close enough you won’t have enough time to look for the adam’s apple.
- Ladyboys really do check themselves out in mirrors more often. Natural girls know their makeup is fine. Ladyboys are putting on a mask for lack of better words.
- Ladyboys are somewhat aggressive in approaching guys. Remember that they have the testosterone of a male and act as such. If they see you checking them out, and hence why you should be looking for the adams apple from a distance immediately, they’ll reach out to you when you’re close enough. They’re also very touchy feely just like testosterone filled guys.
- Stay away from Wechat and Tinder. Sometimes when doing the search nearby function you’ll see that 60%+ are ladyboys. Tinder in Thailand also has a lot of ladyboys and Russian bots. Ladyboys on wechat will openly say they are, while on tinder they won’t.

- Sukhumvit Rd north side from Soi 3 to Soi 7. It's about 50/50 girls and ladyboys here. There are also several ladyboy massage places where you'll find some of the most attractive ladyboys you'll ever see, though these ladyboys outside the shops will generally leave you alone.
- Sukhumvit Rd north side by Soi 15 at Hollys Coffee. Seems to be a regular hangout for ladyboys. Also expensive and espresso drinks here and not really worth it if you need caffeine.
- Outside Thermae. More a mix of 40/60 girls to ladyboys. Do you want to play the lottery?
- Sukhumvit Rd north side from Soi 17 outside Robinsons/McDonalds/Tops to Asok Rd. Also a mix of 50/50 girls to ladyboys.
- The south side of Sukhumvit Rd from Soi 4 all the way to Soi 12. 100% ladyboys on this stretch. Between Soi 10 and Soi 12 is Koreatown which is pretty good if you're looking for Korean food. There are ladyboys outside of Koreatown though.
- Sukhumvit Rd Soi 4. Same soi where Nana Plaza is. It's relatively recent that ladyboys began coming closer to Nana Plaza as in the past they weren't really on this soi that much.
- Sukhumvit Rd down Soi 22 at Queens Park Plaza. Some friendly bars in the small plaza with friendly non-aggressive ladyboys.

I feel I have went up and beyond all the things most mongers do in Thailand.

I'm wondering if people have some more info on less traditional venues for us foreigners.
Especially interested if there are similar bars to Tded99 and if there are any KTV's I could go without being scammed for 20000 or more.

Many GoGos have standard prices for ST/LT and the bar fines are always fixed. You can negotiate much more with bar girls & FLs who will also be cheaper. My preference is bar girls in their 30s as this is close to my age (40) so we have a better connection and usually the girls English is much better. There are plenty of these around Nana.

As for the massage well they might charge you that for a basic 20 min massage but ofc extras will be extra! In KL I paid 40 ringgit (£8) for a massage then the girl wanted 200 ringgit for a HJ. On that note I wouldn’t recommend waiting until she has your semi erect cock in her hand before negotiating

Made it out to nana, but my friends weren’t feeling it so we left and went further down to a quieter area with a bar.

We did go into rainbow 4 for like 5 min. Girls looked similar to Baccara.

Grd floor bars at Nana I tend to find a bit overrated and expensive check out the bars on the upper floors can be great value and fun.  Find a report on Erotica in Nana good hidden gem.  Soi Cowboy these days tends to be more touristy.  Patpong use to be were the tourist would visit, Japanese would go to PP3 (Japan town), Nana use to be a bit more hardcore and Soi C, was were more of the expats use to go.

I’ve only been to BKK not Pattaya but both will have everything you need. From what I’ve heard Pattaya is cheaper but no way near as nice a city. BKK has culture and there’s plenty to do & see outside of mongering but in Pattaya you basically go there to fuck and nothing else.

The GoGo bars will have young girls (and old ones too!) as will the likes of Bit Style massage & 7 Heaven BJ bar in BKK (and no doubt there’ll be Pattaya equivalents). I don’t look ahead of time myself, I much prefer to go with the flow when I’m there.

But why limit yourself only to the youngest? Are you early 20s yourself? I tend to find the 20yo stunners to be starfishes and have had much better nights with the 30s & early 40s girls who frankly eat you alive! But then I’m 40 myself so I have much better connection & chemistry with the girls similar ages to me.

Rocky is right BKK has culture, Pattaya is a mongering town the only other major activity is golf with about 15 courses within an hours drive of Patts - either way you're trying to get hole-in-ones - one will cost you baht the other frustration

@linzh - I Would have to agree with RockyRockstar comments - younger girls can be pre-madonnas or what i call H&M girls - high maintenance - cost of a lot with not much in return, but you can find some that are pretty cool and chilled and give you a great work out.
