I had a walk in Shenzhen's Shawei yesterday during lunch time. I like to walk through the area when I am around.

While I was among the girls, a man is walking by, typical local poor guy (40's, tanned face, ugly, looks a but dirty and smoking too much), and this young cutie (early 20's) stopped him to literally beg him to go with her. Not sure if she's 50RMB or 100 RMB. If you're even poorer, 50m north from there, you'll get a quickie with a milf for 30 RMB (they're ugly and old though).

I have already seen that hundreds of time, but it made me wonder if it's possible not to monger ?!! Even if you're an old and fat dirty pork, you can fuck a young cutie for no more than 100 RMB.

I never discussed about this with Chinese guys, but do you know how local chinese guys do ? Can they resist ? How many % of them see WG ?

There are a few reasons.

1) Price. RMB 100 ~ 200 might be dirt cheap for you. But for many local men, they rather jerk off, than pay RMB 200 which maybe more than 10% of their salary. Or they rather spend RMB 20 on a dinner with a civie girl in order to get her into bed.

2) In many local Chinese eyes, most of the PRC street-walkers are just , I've seen my fair share of SWs in China, mainly in Zhuhai, Zhongshan, Dongguan, and I would reject at least 80% of them.

3) Most local men with families and friends will avoid picking up WGs from the streets. It is not exactly the most discrete place. The rich goes to KTV and saunas, the poor goes to BBS. Better privacy.

Chinese men love to have extra mistresses on the side.  However I don't think street walkers suits their style.  As pointed out, most want to have something for free (or with dinner).

Well it's sorta like the Latina houses we have here in NYC.  Incredibly cheap for $40 USD 15 mins with a young latina.  Condom on before you're hard, blow until you're hard enough, then bang until you cum.  I mean... we make different money here, that's 300 HKD which is enough for a decent 45 min time with a walk up.  In order to get something close to a walkup, you're talking 120-140 USD and the service isn't even half of what it is in HK most of the time.  If I lived in or near Shenzhen, I'd be fucking these 100 RMB hoes all day, 100 rmb is barely lunch for me.  I still manage to put in 3-7 times a month with the $40 chicas, there is no way I can afford the buck twenty girls more than once a month these days.

I've stayed in various local hotels (i.e. non-global chain hotels) in a lot of mainland second and third tier cities Shantou,  Yantai, Xiamen, etc. whenever they see a single male checking into a room, I would always get "the call" between 11 and 12 PM from the front ask asking if I wanted companionship. More than half the time, despite a very rude "bu yau" from me to them on the phone, about 20 minutes later I would get a knock on my door and there would be a young provider waiting for me to open it. Of course this was in the mid-90s when China was different and having heard too many stories of cooperative shakedowns between local police and hotels against punters with girls not their wives in rooms and particularly white punters like myself, I never partook.

I think it is possible not to monger but it's all a question of will power, and if you have none then perhaps insufficient disposable cash  can keep it from happening.

To answer your question, YES, it is possible not to monger, in the same sense
that it's possible to buy real estate without a broker.

It is also possible to have sex without a wife or gf, or in our case notwithstanding having a wife or gf.

You could look at it the other way I suppose it is possible to have sex without spending money, i.e. a wife or gf (ignoring the sunk cost of course, like paying for a date, buying a wedding ring, etc). Its all relative.

U never know what you are seeing on the street. The older man may have some money and he attracts younger girls "legitimately". I've learned to never say never in china. In china society it is absolutely fine to have a 10yr or more age gap. It is not frowned upon.

But to get back to your question..... i think many locals do not partake. It is integrity. some simply do not believe in it.

Personally..... no way I think i'm hooked for life.... its just a matter of how often I do.....

I was surprised by this but every Chinese bloke who can afford it, "plays". Actually the word is to "roll", like rolling around on the floor, means "play" in some context. What shocked me was women accept it, not necessarily happy about it. I took me years to realise that when they said their boyfriends & husbands were out "rolling" actually meant they were out after girls. I stupidly thought it meant "out drinking with the lads" as it could easily have been put in that context.

I made multiple trips to Hong Kong and China for business while married and never punted.
So the answer is yes it is possible and I am sure I was not the only faithful person in China

But now that I am a free man I over indulge while there and as long as I am single the answer is NO it is not possible to abstain from punting (especially with a Indonesian DH) while in Asia.

For me I didn't monger during my work stint over there. Like some of the posters mentioned, keeping yourself occupied with works and friends would help. Although it's been extremely tempting given the quality over there.
