As promised in the rating I made above, I looked up the info. I know the hotel, I know slightly fucked up route I had to walk to get there so I spend a few minutes with Google.
This place had rave reviews on this board. Fishbowls, multiple pops, an excellent place in Shanghai. All I can say is my experience was 100% different.
Unless there's another hotel right nearby that is also on this board, it's the Bodi Hotel, or actually kind of just outside the hotel and to the left (or perhaps it was the right) through a different door. Used this board to find it since I was staying nearby.
No fishbowl. Long wait. Sub-par girl. One pop. Dudes refused to let me see another girl claiming it would be another hour. I seem to recall it was in the basement, too. And as mentioned previously, camera in the pot light. This place seemed pretty big, I was all the way to the back, I recall lots of walking past rooms that seemed empty or at least no noise coming from them through a very dimly lit hallway, making me wonder why I had to wait and why there were no other girls available. Room was quite large by HK standards, shower with a red padded bed inside it (massage-table like) for slip-n-slide. Big queen-sized bed. Unmemorable sex, though. I remember it was a ''what the hell I'm here and I can close my eyes and pretend she's thin and pretty'' kind of moment.
I hope for better luck next time I'm in SH.
There's my pseudo-review, more than 1 year late. Confirmed from my Shanghai photos it was the end of 2011.
