Welll.... first thing first - bros here really frown on flooding of the forum - so next time, please DO consolidate your posts into one.  You can hit the "edit" button at the bottom of your post and add whatever other information/question that you may have to add on your original post.  And since you've already accumulated 2 credits as it is, I'll have to refrain from giving you your "Welcome" karma points - fair enough?  LOL

Secondly, your questions can and WILL be answered if you read some of the great reports that others here have posted up - specifically in the spiriti of "sharing and caring" and thus make it unnecessary for questions like yours. If you still have specific questions AFTER you've done a bit of reading here, it is of course appropriate and welcome for you to then post up such question(s).

You see, there ARE certain conventions and Likes/don't likes that we here - as in other forums - have; and others here really get very upset at such contraventions to the way  things are....and if you catch 'em in a bad mood...MAN...the negative karmas will be flying out to you!!

So, to avoid you getting into any problems here - since I DO REALIZE that you are very new here - I suggest that you DO read the "Getting Started" section first.  Please do read it thoroughly and do NOT just skim through it like I did when I first started here (to my chagrin and regret - as I DID get knocked about quite a bit for not knowing what's right or wrong here!).

I'm confident that you will fit right in here and enjoy this forum as much as most of us do.  It's a great community of like minded punters who do enjoy "sharing and caring" with each other; but you do WANT TO fit in first.

Errr.... like I mentioned previously, being a "leader" to KTV parties is quite an onerous undertaking and one I have long ago given up in favour of just deferring such to a paid agent.

I know a few and they do do a good job of not only getting you what you want, keeping the atmosphere up and most importantly, to keep the costs down as per my list in that thread I previously posted up.  And these guys mainly depend on the 5-15% rebate that KTV's regularly dole out to "leaders" and thus will NOT be you guys paying out extra.

PM me if you want me to recommend one to you - as I don't think its appropriate for me to post it up here.

Bro, to the best of my knowledge, all HK hotels are "girl friendly" (GF meaning ok to bring girl back to hotel). There is occasionally talk that there is one that isn't but I dont know which one and I guess you'd be super unlucky if that's where you are staying. So, short answer, I have stayed in lots of hotels in HK, sometimes I have walked up to my room with the WG. Sometimes I have given her my room number and she has walked up on her own. I have NEVER had any problem with the hotel. I have NEVER felt in any danger. Go for it and have fun!!!

The Wesley hotel in Wanchai - built by and next to the Wesleyan church and the Bishop Lei hotel in Robinson road, mid-levels are NOT GF as far as I know.  

OTH, I've heard (unlikely) that the Bishop Lei are nowadays a bit more relaxed - but I doubt it as a couple yars ago, I actually had to move one of my buddies who stayed there and was told in no uncertain terms that bringing a girl to his room was a strict No!

I've stayed there for a few nights, but did not try to bring in girls. Nice rooms, and the open park view is great from the big windows.

Bro, I always bring HG to my hotel room, and never had any issues. I Know I am in control and safe in my hotel room.

Well... these agents - at least the ones I deal with - IMHO - really work for whatever little that they manage to make as commission at the end of the evening.

First important thing they do is of course to basically enforce all the rules and things to do/not do to make sure that his guests do not get ripped off by the various mommies, managers, gals, dj, cigarette/snack/flower/stuffed toys sellers etc... anyone of whom can quickly add to the outlay for the evening.  If you read my thread on the do's and don'ts at a KTV, you will get more details what all these KTV's can AND do pull on the unsuspecting KTV goer.

And a good agent will NOT subscribe to the notion that the more the bill goes up, the more he will make at the end of the night; he will instead honestly try to keep unnecessary costs down to satisfy his clients...who will in turn recommend him to others as well as become return customers.

Secondly, they are there to help you solve some of the problems that CAN arise during the evening - things like recalcitrant, demanding, out of line etc gals,  a bit of translating if you are not a Chinese speaker - even negotiating with your gal/what you expect for taking her out etc.

But the thing that I really appreciate them doing is that they pair off a lot of single (or 2, 3)  punters with others to make up a party AND to share/lower the costs. And as a good agent is the guy approached naturally by a lot of punters who come to town, such pairing up with others are much more likely to happen than if you try to arrange it all yourself.

Probably can think up of a few more reasons why I myself prefer to use an agent when I want to go to a KTV - but believe that the above list should already give you a pretty good idea.

now, don't be lazy, Kenny. head on over to International Reports and do some reading on anything labeled "Bangkok" or "attaya"--there are other areas, but those are the major mongering destinations.

it can be intimidating the first time, but if u can handle a bit of exploring on yr own, you'll find that either BKK or PTY has more wonderful gals than any man could possibly want. u can spectate at a go-go, luxuriate at a "soapy" massage parlor where u pick yr date from a massive "fishbowl" full of pretty women in evening gowns, or just head over to Lolita's where the technicians specialize in top-quality blowjobs. in many ways Pattaya is more easy-going, less traffic and the naughty-fun stuff is more concentrated. a lot depends on what u wanna do. which u gotta spell out as there are no mind-readers on this board!

u do need to exercise a bit of caution in Thailand: don't drink so much u make unwise decisions, don't get angry with ppl (esp those wearing uniforms), and wear collared shirts/long pants (NOT kidding: clean, semi-decent clothes make a difference). if you show up wearing a Hawaiian shirt, shorts and flip-flops, u might as well write "NEWBIE TOURIST" on yr forehead

leave the guilt at home. Thai society is conservative, but sex is considered "sanuk" (fun), not something alien to the human species. u will have MORE fun if u laugh and joke with people, and don't pay over the odds (to find out correct pricing for services, chat with yr fellow punters: there are some weirdos out there, but u can do some quick intel-gathering and get an idea of what the scene's about. again, much depends on u, yr desires and yr initiative.
