Mostly offerings for the locals i/o foreigners/Cashed-up locals - and quite cheap/good quality. The trick is of course to get to know some of the locals who knows about these things - I guess the same like in ALL cities - but BJ in particular is so screwed up with what's on offer to the cashed up punters vs  just regular punters. Another way is to just wander around some of the older parts of outer BJ - just to sight-see first - and pretty soon, you'll "discover" where some of these little "villages" within BJ are.  That's what I also did back then on top of just being piloted by local friends.
