I was in Athens last April and stayed for 1 week in a cheap apartment near Metaxourgeio metro station. The apartment was cheap, only 30 euro per day through Airbnb and it could easily accommodate 4 people (although I was staying alone). That means that if you are a group of 4 you will have to pay only 7.5 euro per day per person!!!(That’s really cheap right?) The area that I was staying was not good but from what locals told me is safe for tourist although they are some issues with migrants from Middle East. This area is full with brothels and the streets that have the most of them are “Fillis”, “Liosion”, “Kolonou” and “Iasonos”. I have attached a screenshot of a map that I have taken from another forum. Although the map has some issues it will give you a good idea where to find the brothels if you combine it with google maps and google street view. The prices are around 20 to 30 euros for 1 shot and the fact that you can find around 50 brothels in walking distance of 10min guaranties that you will find something that you like. The only issue is that the brothels are a little dirty.
