Although masks have all but disappeared in the US, I wore one for about a week leading up to my recent trip to HK. I did feel a little strange, and I'm sure some people looked at me like... WTF? But I didn't care, I didn't want to risk testing positive for COVID and get denied entry... or worse, get sick on my trip! Wear a mask when you want to. Don't worry about the judgement of other people, you'll probably never see any of them again anyway.

#5 Post at 4-3-2023 08:29  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L This is Asia.  Wearing a mask even pre COVID was not an usual site.  It just generally means you think you might be down with something or it could be for smog reduction.  Now after COVID, it's even more acceptable to wear a mask just because.  Our in our case.  To go incognito. It's not like it's in the west where you would get a weird look. No lie tho.  I legit think some of these Asian girls prefer to wear a mask because they are butter face.  You see some with hot bodies, nice hair and eyes.  They sit down at a restaurant and remove their mask.  BAM that hot chick illusion is gone lol.  Before it was only an effect when you see a girl from behind until you see their front.  Now it's a 360 illusion lol.
